"Excuse me?" I almost choked with my eyes widened to the core, shocked at his sudden brave outburst.

He inched closer mockingly, "You heard me. Why do we have to write our 'romance' down? Let's just make it happen," he smirked and I felt heat taking over my face.

Jerk. He knew what he was doing and I couldn't even slap him for it.

The odd boy huffed out a chuckle, "I'm kidding, you're so fun to tease," and with that my broadened eyes quickly shot him glares in which his smile faltered.

"You're not funny Felix," I stated with absolutely no remorse.

"Oh really? I'll have you know I was known as the comedy king in my old school," He says proudly with his hands on his hips and face turning away, showcasing his sharp jawline right as I reach for my latte. So sassy.

"Look's like the comedy king is running out of talent," I simpered.

I look up to see the sassy attitude that Felix once mustered was gone and a pout reformed on his face. He sure does pout a lot at the slightest words, but I couldn't help but laugh lightly.

As soon as I did, his eyes immediately looked up at mine as he searched them from a distance. "Your response says otherwise."

"Shut up and get back to working," I murmured, embarrassed that I couldn't think of a witty comeback.

We started brainstorming about multiple scenarios to create for our story, but none of us seemed to approve of the other's idea. I for one, am very passionate about writing, and I never let a moment slip away to demonstrate my artistic ideas in a fluent manner. Felix seemed to share the same passion, but I just couldn't give in to his proposals, they didn't sit right.

He seemed frustrated, and to be honest, I was too. We kept rejecting every single idea because none of us liked anything the other came up with.

Rubbing his temples, Felix sighed "Okay, look how about we create a plot in which I'm a superior gamer god, and you were I don't know, my rival? Yeah, my rival and we hated each other, but soon we became friends and lived happily ever after? See, simple and classic."

I just stared at him in utter confusion. "Yeah, a little too simple and classic," I rolled my eyes at how boring that sounded.

"Besides, we're supposed to defy fate. Surely gaming does not involve throwing away your inevitable destiny."

"It could if you were my cruel girlfriend and stopped my undeniable love for them," he shot out a wink again.
