=Turning your Mourning into Dancing=

*Matthew 5:3-12
(Beatitude= Beautiful Attitude)

1. Poor in Spirit (I am nothing without Christ)
*John 15:5
"...without Me, you can do nothing."

Connected = Personal Relation with Christ
Dependence = 100% Trust God
Continuance = Pagpapatuloy sa Lord.

*Matthew 5:4
"4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

mourning: state of being in deep grief.
Pentheo: "pènthos"
(grief and sorrow caused by profound loss, especially death.)

*Godly mourning over sin.

*Romans 5:10
"10 For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!"

"Because God is holy, be holy."

*Romans 5:12
"12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--"

Why do we sin?
Desire ---> Delight ---> Dwell ---> Death

*James 1:14-15
"14 but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed.
15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

1. Desire.
2. Enticed.
3. Conceived.
4. Gives birth to sin.
5. Full-grown.
6. Death.

What are the Right Response to Sin?
1. Realization.
-fact or moment of understanding the situation.
*Psalms 32:3-4
"3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer.

2. Repentance.
Psalms 32:5
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD "-- and you forgave the guilt of my sin."

3. Return to God.
-180 degrees turn to God.
*Psalms 32:1-2
"1 Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
2 Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.

4. Reassurance.
-Reassurance of His comfort.
*Matthew 5:4
"4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

*Psalms 30:11
"11 You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,"

"Jesus' true disciples must always MOURN over SIN."

*Hebrews 6:5-6
"5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age,
6 if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

*1 Corinthians 11:27-31
"27 Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.
28 A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup.
29 For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself.
30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.
31 But if we judged ourselves, we would not come under judgment."
