*Matthew 5:13
"13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.Uses of Salt:
-storing and flavoring;
-tanning, dyeing, bleaching;
-production of pottery, soap and chlorine;
-fluid balance and muscle and nerve function;+salt: believers
+flavor: first love and fire for the LordCan Salt Lose its Saltiness?
-although natural salts can never spoil, table salts with additives can lose their flavor and texture over time.=Not Me=
Who will be the next to leave the Lord?
*Backsliding
-turning away from God;
-growing cold and leaving the first love;
-growing cold and losing interest in the Lord, prayer, church attendance, ministry, witnessing and turning towards the Lord.
-a gradual process;5Cs in the life of Lot:
*Genesis 13:10
"10 Lot looked up and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan was well watered, like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, toward Zoar. (This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)+Lot felt to the sin of covetousness.

-has a strong desire to possess something, especially something that belongs to another person.*Exodus 20:17
