1. Post-millennialism (Daniel Whitby; 17th Century)
-Christ will return after a millennium.

2. A-Millenialism (no millennium)
-millenium as "symbolic".

3. Pre-millenialism (Jesus Christ will physically return to earth)
-defeating His enemies.

"Why do we have to have Millennium?"
1. To reward His people. (Isaiah 40:10)
"10 See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and his arm rules for him. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him."

*Revelation 22:12
"12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done."

*Matthew 25:23
"23 "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'"

"Serve Him now, so you can serve Him more later."

2. To realize the solid truth of Biblical Prophecy.

-Prophecy of Jesus Reigns:
*Psalms 72:11
"11 All kings will bow down to him and all nations will serve him."

*Isaiah 9:7
"7 Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this."

"32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David,
33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."

-Prophesy of Splendid Restoration:
*Isaiah 2:4
"4 He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore."

8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth--Gog and Magog--to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore."

Take Away:
