Oxford Dictionary: used to express the view that one should make the most of the present moment without worrying about future.
Cambridge Dictionary: used especially in social media, to mean that you should do things that are enjoyable or exciting, even if they are silly or slightly dangerous?

-You Only Live Once

*Luke 12:16-20
"16 And he told them this parable: "The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop.
17 He thought to himself, 'What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.'
18 "Then he said, 'This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.
19 And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." '
20 "But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?'

Is God against luxury?

*Luke 12:13-15
"13 Someone in the crowd said to him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me."
14 Jesus replied, "Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?"
15 Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."

God is against greed.

*Luke 12:21
"21 "This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God."

Is God against riches?

God wants a relationship with Him.

Wht would a holy God care about your lifestyle?

"15 So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun.

Why on Earth am I Here For?

God's 5 Purposes For Man:
1. Worship and Glorify God.
*Revelations 4:11
"11 "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."

2. Be a Member of God's Family.
*1 John 3:1a
"1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!"

3. Become Christ-like.
*Romans 8:29
"29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

"Sorry for inconvenience, I'm under construction."

4. Fulfill your Ministry.
*Ephesians 2:10
"10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

5. Fulfill your Mission.
*Acts 20:24
"24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace."

God is against the YOLO concept.

Life is all about Jesus.

Jesus must be the Center of our life.
