Sunday Service: The Breath

=The Breath=

*Genesis 2:7
"7 the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."

-Hebrew: "yatsar"

God designed and molded us.
1. It showed of His power and intelligence.

"The human body is the most complex system ever created. The more we learn about it, the more appreciation we have about what a rich system it is."

2. He knew every detail in us.
*Psalms 139:13-18
"13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.

3. He created us for a greater purpose.
*Colossians 1:16
"16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.

*Genesis 2:7

*There was no life in him.

*John 11:25
"25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;"

*Application
1. Be grateful to God.
2. Don't waste your life; use it for God's glory.
3. Let us worship and honor the Lord.
