*John 1:12
"12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--

receive him= relationship = believe, accept, love

believed him= surrender, obey, submit

Who is God the Father?
*Jeremiah 10:10a
"10 But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King

+He is not a fiction.
+He has knowledge, feelings and willpower.
+His dominion never ends.

*John 4:24
"24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

+A spirit has neither flesh, bones nor blood.
+He is invisible.

*John 1:18
"18 No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only,who is at the Father's side, has made him known.

God's Natural Attributes
1. He is eternal.
*Psalms 102:27
"27 But you remain the same, and your years will never end."

*Psalms 90:2
"2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

2. He is unchangeable.
*1 Samuel 15:29
"29 He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a man, that he should change his mind

+Dependable, Trustworthy

3. He posseses all power (He is omnipotent)

4. He is present everywhere at one and the same time (omnipresent)

5. He has all knowledge (omniscient)
