=Arise! Shine!=

*Isaiah 60:1-5
"1 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
4 "Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm.
5 Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.

4 Essential P's:
1. Proclamation for your Rising and Shining
-divine commandment for you to arise and thereafter shine;

A. In a fallen position
*Micah 1:8
"8 Because of this I will weep and wail; I will go about barefoot and naked. I will howl like a jackal and moan like an owl.

B. In a dead situation
*Ezekiel 37:10
"10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet--a vast army."

C. In a confused situation
*Acts 9:6
"6 "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."

"A confused soul is a captured soul."

D. In a sitting position (idleness)
*Acts 9:10-17
"10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, "Ananias!" "Yes, Lord," he answered.
11 The Lord told him, "Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying.
12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight."
13 "Lord," Ananias answered, "I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem.
14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name."
15 But the Lord said to Ananias, "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel.
16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name."
17 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord--Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here--has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit."

2. Provision for your Rising and Shining
*Jesus is the light shining upon us, and until He shines on us, there is no way we can shine.

*Zechariah 4:6
"6 So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty."

3. Purpose for Rising and Shining
*Your purpose is to standout and show forth the glory of God.

+Urgency to Shine
3.1. Darkness covering the earth.
-1 John 2:15-17
"15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world.
17 The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

3.2. Gross darkness covering the people.
*Psalm 1:1-3
"1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers."

4. Prophesy Surrounding your Rising and Shining
*Gentiles coming to light.
*King shall come to the brightness of thy rising.
*All that belong to you shall come to you.
*Riches of the gentiles to be given to you.

*Isaiah 60:1-2
"1 "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you."
