_________________________________________It's the first day of school for Albus Severus Potter.
He was only six and he had to go to a kindergarten for his education. Dad said that he was a brilliant boy and brilliant boys always go to school. He wanted to make Dad proud of him.
So on that day, he got up early in the morning and gotten himself ready all on his own because he was becoming a big boy now. Dad praised him for his well-manner. Al beamed brightly at the elder. After they had their breakfast, Dad sent him to his small school.
"Are you nervous?" Dad asked.
He wanted to be a good boy for Dad but he was a painfully shy person since birth. Not wanting to lie to make himself look good, he nodded with a small smile. "I-I'm scared that people won't like me."
"Oh, love," Dad knelt on the ground with a gentle look. The freckled boy looked at his Dad with a light blush. "You don't have to pretend to be someone you aren't. You just have to be yourself. If there are people that dislike you, it's not you who are the problem. It's them. They're just jealous of you because you're amazing and you're the best son I could ever wish for. You're Albus Severus Potter. You are who you show yourself as to others," he smiled kindly.
"Potter, fancy seeing you here. Aren't you supposed to be on your way to your Defence class by now?" called someone with a posh accent. Al turned towards the voice and blinked. He's so pretty, he thought, eyes blinking owlishly.
"Malfoy," Dad nodded at him with a small smirk, caressing Al's back with slow comforting circles. "I was just dropping Al. He was scared no one would like him. I had to assure him a little. What are you doing here anyway?"
'Malfoy' rolled his eyes, arms crossed to his chest as he leaned against the blue coloured wall. "So ignorant as usual. Why did I expect anything else from Saint Potter? I'm a teacher here if you must know. Specifically, your son's class which will be starting in 5 minutes."
"Always so prickly," Dad snorted and pushed Albus towards the teacher. "I'll come and pick you up when you finished, alright? Don't cause too much trouble, love. Whatever Mr Malfoy tells you to do, just do it. I'll see you soon."
"Bye, Dad," Albus waved shyly. "Take care of yourself. Eat your meals. Love you!"
"I love you more, sweetheart. I will," Dad smiled and bent a little to kiss him on the forehead. "Take care of yourself too."
Albus waited until Dad apparated out of sight before he turned to Mr Malfoy with a small timid smile. "H-Hello," he shifted nervously. Mr Malfoy squatted down and beckoned him closer with a loving expression, a blatant contrast to the annoyed fondness he had seen on him when he looked at Dad. "Hullo, darling," Mr Malfoy whispered. "Are you scared? You don't have to be. I'm right here for you. If anyone bothers you, you will tell me right away, understood?"
"Yes, Mr Malfoy," Al nodded obediently.
"Such a good boy," the blond cooed, caressing his cheeks so tenderly, different from his Dad's affection. Al blushed brightly under the sole attention he received from his teacher. "Now come. The class has already started."

"Dad, look at what I draw!" Albus giggled as soon as he saw his Dad. The spectacled man lifted him into the air and caught him when he was falling. Albus shrieked before he started laughing, hugging Dad tight.
