Haaaaa~

Draco blinked from his parchment where he was taking his Charms notes. He discreetly looked around the classroom but everyone had their heads down, quills furiously scratching the parchment as they took notes to what Professor Flitwick was saying. No one seemed to indicate that they heard what he heard.

Pansy and Blaise didn't seem like they heard the voice either. Odd, he thought before focusing back to his notes.

"Hey, Pans," Draco shifted slightly, running a hand through his messy loose bright lavender hair.

The girl turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow. "Yeah? What's wrong with you?"

"Just now in Charms..." he hesitated. "Did you hear someone singing? Cause halfway through the class, I suddenly heard someone singing, a girl if I'm not mistaken," he said. Pansy looked at him with slight concern. "Well, I didn't hear anything though. Maybe it's just in your mind," she dismissed it. But it didn't feel like it was just in my mind, he thought.

Still troubled, Draco just nodded before they went to their next class.

After all of his morning classes ended, they headed towards the Great Hall for lunch. He just sat down, reaching to grab for his tea when he froze, hearing the same voice again. His eyes widened.

Haaaaa~

He inhaled sharply and nudged Pansy lightly to get her attention. "Pans, I heard it again. The voice," he whispered and the female's eyes widened just a fraction. "I don't know what to say to you, Dray," she whispered back, now very concerned. "I didn't hear anything."

He brushed away his hair from his eyes and then he felt a pair of eyes on him. He blinked before looking up to see Potter staring at him again. "What?" he mouthed, the space between his perfectly trimmed eyebrows scrunched. Potter's glinting green eyes flitted to the door and then to the food.

After you've done eating, come meet me.

Draco blinked before nodding curtly and ate his lunch.

. . .

"Why do you want to see me for?" Draco asked with a raised eyebrow when Potter pulled him to an alcove, away from people's eyes. The latter blinked as he looked around before sighing. "Well, I saw you looked troubled. I just wanted to know what's wrong," he admitted.

"Boy-Who-Lived-Twice is worried about little Death Eater filth?" Draco smirked. Potter gave him a heated glare before answering, "Obviously I'm worried. You've been getting so much rubbish from everyone ever since we came back here and whether you like it or not, I'm your friend and I think of you as one. It's not weird for a friend to be concern about their friends now, is it?"

His grey eyes gazed the floor with a small smile. "Thank you, Potter," he said with appreciation. Ever since Potter spoke for him and his mother for their trials, they had a silent truce between them. Draco desperately wanted to be what he was before Father drilled the Pureblood supremacy into him. Mother encouraged him to feel his emotions and so far, it was working quite alright for him. "But I'm fine," he reassured truthfully. "Just the usual threats here and there but I'm fine. I promise."
