Harry kept on walking towards the Great Hall without stopping as soon as they got to Hogwarts. Hermione and Ron were busy arguing about their final year, one wanting nothing other than to finish her studies while the other wanted nothing other than to eat. And Harry? Well, he just wanted to balance his life, his studies, and taking care of one orphaned child, Teddy Lupin.

Andromeda had sadly passed away because of the amount of grief she had to take at her age after 2 years of the battle, causing her to suffer Heartbreak Disease. Since Harry was Teddy's godfather, it was his job to care for the child now since his grandmother was unable to do so. He couldn't leave Teddy when he needed to finish his last year of school, so he decided to bring him along as soon as Hogwarts had been rebuilt.

"Pwetty," Teddy cooed behind Harry and the black-haired Gryffindor stopped to see what his godson just pointed to-

Only to see Malfoy standing there, eyes wide at the baby. Harry watched as Malfoy's steel eyes softened at the sight of Teddy. "I can assure you that I am not, little one. However, you are," he smiled before nodding at Harry and walked off with his head bowed down. Teddy giggled and morphed his hair to match with Malfoy along with his eyes. "Both pwetty, Hawwy!" he squealed, clapping his hands excitedly, making the elder chuckle with amusement. "Yes, both of you are pretty, buddy."

Harry shook his head and continued his way towards his seat.

"Pwetty!" Teddy clapped his hands before pointing at Malfoy, who just entered the Common Room with a few books in his arms.

The blond stopped short, just like everyone in the room did. Ron looked disgruntled at the sudden outburst, looking disgusted. "Did he just... called Malfoy... pretty?" The said male blushed bright red in sheer embarrassment but flashed a small smile at the child nonetheless. "Hello to you too, little one," he ruffled the blue blond hair slightly as he passed by to get to his room.

Harry blinked from his spot, trying to do his homework earlier. He kinda liked the way Malfoy's cheeks reddened.

"Hewwo, pwetty!" Teddy giggled as he ran off away from Harry and towards Malfoy, who was on his way to the Great Hall for dinner. "Teddy!" Before Harry could even tell him to be careful, Teddy accidentally tripped over and face-plant on the floor. Harry and Malfoy stood there in shock. Teddy just laid there silent before he screamed on top of his lungs in pain causing everyone that passed by to stop and stare at the three.

"Little one!" Malfoy freaked and instantly set him up. Harry wanted to stop him but at the same time, he was curious about what Malfoy was about to do. He cast a few spells and healed a few scrapes on Teddy's palms. The Slytherin cooed softly at the boy and held him close, singing something in a language that Harry was sure as French since he had heard the accent from Fleur. "It is quite alright, sweetheart. The pain will be gone in a bit. You are such a strong boy."

"Tentiew, pwetty," Teddy sniffled, lisping. Malfoy ruffled his hair gently and caressed his chubby red cheeks. "Next time do not run when you see me, lovely. Just walk. I would not go anywhere."

"Sowwy," he apologised with guilt. "Do not apologise to me, doll. However, you gave your Harry quite a scare." Malfoy set him down and nudged him forward to go back to his godfather. Harry stood there with a raised eyebrow. "Go ahead, love. He is not that upset with you. Just a few reprimands and you will be good to go, I figured," Malfoy smirked, making the scars on his face wrinkled- the scars that Harry made- as he winked at the tiny boy before leaving.
