pure fluff and tiny bit of smut, just a tiny bit though, don't worry
_________________________________________"Hello there, darling. Are you perhaps lost?" Draco Malfoy cooed (he let out a very manly coo, thank you very much) as he picked up a weird-looking animal that he had never seen before. "Where did you come from?"
It was a very weird-looking animal though. It was very furry, dark grey in colour and a little heavy. It was very cuddly too. The animal clung onto Draco tightly as if he didn't want to let him go, which he found endearing. "Well, I'm famished. So, we're gonna go to get dinner first before I search for your owner, okay?" he smiled.
Then to the Great Hall, they went. The animal snuggled close, eyes shut as if he was sleeping comfortably in Draco's arms. As they entered the Hall, everyone quieted down and stared at them in shock.
"Draco, what in the world is that?!" Pansy screeched, looking disgusted at the animal clinging on him.
"I have no idea but I found him on my way here and he wouldn't let go of me after then," Draco shrugged as he sat down. "That's a koala," Daphne said with a weird expression. The said animal pressed his cold nose against Draco's neck, nuzzling, making him giggle softly. "It's a muggle animal. I found it in a book one day."
"What's a muggle animal doing in this place?" Blaise asked incredulously.
"How would I know?" Draco shrugged before cooing at the koala. "Who's a good boy~" he giggled as the small creature seemed to preen. "You are! As a good boy, you deserve a treat!" Draco handed him a carrot stick. "You don't look like an animal that eats meat so you're probably a herbivore, yes?" He watched the koala ate the carrot sticks quietly.
He looked up towards the Gryffindor table to see Granger and Weasley staring at him– oh wait, they're staring at the koala with wide eyes. He couldn't find Potter, much to his disappointment. Though he shrugged it off before pressing his nose into the koala's head.
After dinner, they were about to leave to the dungeon when the two-third of the Golden Trio came to them. "Malfoy! Give Harry back to us!" Weasley said with a scowl.
Draco raised an eyebrow. "You think this cute creature is Ugly Potter? How could this adorable being be the stupid Gryffindor? I'm not giving him to you," he sneered. Granger sighed as she facepalmed herself. "Malfoy, you saw Harry's not here with us at the table today, yes? Suddenly you met this koala in the middle of nowhere, yes? Our last class for today was Transfiguration and Neville accidentally transformed Harry into this koala. So the koala you're holding is actually Harry."
"Oh yeah? Prove it."
"Come on, mate. We're taking you back to our dorm–"
The koala though squirmed around, looking uncomfortable when the two advanced towards them. So, Draco shielded him. "Shh.. It's okay, darling. No one will hurt you. I won't let anyone hurt you."
Weasley stared at the koala with betrayal. Granger just looked resigned before she sighed again. "Fine. Be like that, Harry. Don't say I didn't warn you, Malfoy, when suddenly the koala is no longer a koala on your bed the next morning."
Granger dragged a protesting Weasley off towards the Gryffindor Tower. Draco snarled before stalk off towards the Common Room.
. . .
So to say, Granger was correct when he suddenly found himself being cuddled tightly to a warm hard body of a male namely Harry Potter, who was sporting a morning wood against his bum, rather than the soft furry koala he had found the day before.
"Good morning, Malfoy," Potter's deep voice, still laced with sleep vibrated against his back. Draco shuddered involuntarily as he stayed frozen still.
