Draco didn't usually stay in his shop for long unless it was to finish up a few of his customer's orders for the day so that they could pick them up the next day. He would usually close the shop around 9 pm and went home immediately by then.

But this time, he stayed up past midnight and he swore he could hear a set of footsteps a few feet behind him. His heart was beating so fast and so loud in his chest out of fear. He lived alone and his apartment was a little far from the shop but he would frequently just take a walk home. Nerves rattled his body.

His feet sped up just slightly so that the stalker wouldn't know that he had noticed him. He searched for his phone and tried to open it, only remembering how it had died a few hours ago. His body started to shake in terror, eyes teary but he stayed strong as he walked towards a shop that he knew would still be open because of their 24 hours service. He pretended to call someone.

"Darling, are you there yet? I'm on my way. Yeah? I'm just around the corner, love. Meet me halfway? Alright," Draco talked to himself. He slipped the phone in his pocket and prayed to any God that listened to have someone save him from this creepy stalker.

Suddenly Draco saw a tall bulky man with dark skin and a scar on his face, wearing a tight white shirt and fitted black jeans, long hair tied in a bun standing under a lamp post. He bit back a whimper as he rushed towards him. "Darling!" Draco wrapped his arms around his waist, face buried in his chest, trying to get himself to stop trembling. The man was caught off guard. "U-Uh..."

"Please help me," Draco whispered, terrified out of his mind. "Someone followed me for a few blocks now."

The man immediately straightened and wrapped an arm around his slender body, making him feel so small yet safe. Tears leaked from his eyes and he felt slightly embarrassed for crying. "Don't worry. I'm here," he rubbed his back and brought out a walkie-talkie, saying, "I see him, Ron, Tonks. Just around the corner."

A ginger-haired male with a pink-haired woman came forth and ran to capture the culprit. Draco was horrified to know that the one following him was Zacharias Smith, a psychopathic rapist and a serial killer.

"There, he's gone. He won't be following you around anymore. Where do you live? Do you want me to send you back? It's dangerous for you to go back alone at a time like this," he said. Draco let go of the tight clutch he had on the man's shirt, still trembling, clearly traumatised.

"I-I lived a few blocks down. I-If it's not a bother, I hope y-you don't mind," he stuttered faintly, fiddling with his shirt, legs shaking, feeling like jelly.

"Hey, Harry. Me and Tonks will send Smith to the centre. You take him home," the person, who he guessed was Ron, said with a grin before turning towards Draco, smiling reassuringly. "Don't worry much, mate. You're safe with our Harry."

Then the two drove away.

Draco sagged against the lamp post tiredly, feeling emotionally drained. "Thank you, officer. I was scared that I'd be kidnapped for a moment there."

"I don't blame you. It's dangerous to go out at a time like this. Please make sure you have company if ever you want to go out while it's dark. Next time, you might not be this lucky," Harry said worriedly. Draco shifted a little guiltily and nodded. "I will, officer. Thank you."

Harry drove him home and on their way there, they talked about a few things. Draco found out that they're both the same age and at one point, they had gone to the same high school together. As they arrived, the taller parked the car right in front of his building.
