Like how they first got together but I won't show much about their break up. I want it to be... just for the two of them but still something that y'all are aware of
_________________________________________"And then perhaps- Draco? Are you even listening to me?"
"Yeah, I'm listening. I just don't care," the said male replied with a cold look, making Harry blinked and stared at Draco, completely astonished.
"You- I don't- What?"
The youngest Malfoy laughed without any emotion. "I can't believe it took me this long to figure out why you're being all nice to me and are willing to spend time with me."
"But now I finally see it. You're doing this all out of sympathy!" he exploded.
Harry stared at Draco helplessly, trying to grasp what had just happened between them so he could understand the situation better but he couldn't. He could feel his heart breaking in his chest like a loud crack the more Draco spoke.
"Didn't think I'd eventually figure it out, Potter? You pity me because my life is a fucking mess and since you are the saviour, you want to make me feel better so you'll look like a fucking hero in my eyes as well!"
"No, that's not why-" Harry started but Draco cut his words off before he could finish his sentence.
"You know what, Potter? I-I'm sick of it! I don't need your pity. I-I don't need anything from you. I'm above it!"
Draco got up and walked away, not even looking back when Harry called out to him, trying to catch up with the Slytherin. Desperation crashed over the black-haired male like never before as he haltered to a stop. "Draco, wait! Please! I've never done anything out of sympathy, that's not why I spend time with you! I swear!"
As the Slytherin disappeared behind a corner, Harry whispered brokenly, tears springing in his eyes:
"I want to spend time with you..."
"-because I'm in love with you..."

Harry was utterly miserable for the entire week after Draco walked out of his life. Hermione and Ron didn't know what to say or how to help him, only watching him sadly over the table as he played with his food, looking like he hadn't been sleeping well for the past few days.
It was hell.
He barely ate anything every time he went down to the Great Hall much to his friends' concern. He couldn't sleep at all, nightmares plaguing his mind more than usual. You could see the big dark eye-bags underneath his eyes. He couldn't focus in class, always zoning out and falling asleep.
None of the professors ever said anything, letting him sleep away in peace, only looking at him with pity.
He looked like a walking corpse.
Draco was horrified.
∆
"Harry, talk to us. Please," Draco heard Hermione's voice as he passed an abandoned classroom's door.
