It had been 4 years after the breakup between Harry and Draco.

The former had a song stuck to his head for all those times. He kept singing the song every single day to the point where Ron and Hermione had gotten sick of it. Luna and Neville only looked at him with pity. Others didn't say much about it, knowing how hard the breakup was to Harry even after all these years.

He wanted it to stop hurting and singing the song made his heart ached less than usual. So he sang. He sang with and without tears, with and without emotions.

Harry stared at the ceiling of the empty Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom blankly. He knew he needed to stop moping and started living. Draco had long moved on from him, marrying the Greengrass youngest Pureblood daughter, Astoria. They even had a son together for Godric's sake! But his heart felt heavy, still slightly in shock even after all these years. They had been happy with each other, loving and carefree. So, what had gone wrong?

Then the song came to his head. Tears sprang to his eyes as he opened his mouth to sing. Pathetic, he thought. You're pathetic, Harry.

"He said, "Let's get out of this town
Drive out of the city
Away from the crowds"
I thought heaven can't help me now
Nothing lasts forever"

It didn't.

"But this is gonna take me down
He's so tall, and handsome as hell
He's so bad but he does it so well
I can see the end as it begins, my one condition is"

He supposed he did knew deep down all those years ago when they had first started dating, that it was too good to be true. Too much like a fairy tale for it to last forever.

"Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams (ah ah)
Wildest dreams (ah ah)"

This felt like it would be the last time he would be singing this song for Draco. He could feel it deep down. So, he sang with his might, voice loud, echoing through the four walls, seeping deep within as it engraved his pain silently.

"I said no one has to know what we do
His hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my room
And his voice is a familiar sound, nothing lasts forever"

"But this is getting good now
He's so tall, and handsome as hell
He's so bad but he does it so well
And when we've had our very last kiss
But my last request is"

Their last kiss was.. painful. It was filled with longing and desperation for Harry. The way Draco's hands gripped his waist tightly as if he didn't want to let go. The way Harry hold down his sobs as they kissed for the last time before they had to part ways. It felt like summer love, short and sweet. It felt like a beautiful tragedy.

"Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams (ah ah) (ah ah)
Wildest dreams (ah ah)"

"You see me in hindsight
Tangled up with you all night
Burn it down
Some day when you leave me
I bet these memories follow you around"

"You see me in hindsight
Tangled up with you all night
Burnin' it down (down)
Some day when you leave me
I bet these memories follow you around (follow you around)"

Hopefully, Draco would remember their love story. A story only they knew. A story only they understand. A story that only they both share. Again, beautiful but tragic.

"Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just pretend"

"Say you'll remember me
Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again even if it's just pretend, (just pretend)
In your wildest dreams (ah ah)
In your wildest dreams (ah ah)
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams (ah ah)
In your wildest dreams (ah ah)"

The song ended and the tune faded from his lips. He felt a little lighter as if he could let them go now. He looked at the rose gold bracelet Draco had gifted him on his birthday.

"Honestly, I should've said goodbye all those years ago when I first found out that you're gonna get married but I couldn't. I couldn't reconcile with myself. I felt empty. I felt numbed. I felt betrayed. I started questioning everything. For a moment I thought that you were just playing with my feelings. I thought you didn't care about me. I thought that you weren't being genuine, just a phoney." Harry trailed a finger over the bracelet, watching it glinted under the light. "But then, now that I think about it properly. I guess I could understand why you left. You did love me. I know you did. I remember that soft eyes filled with love stared right at me for countless of times. I remember that loving smile that graced your lips. The fond way you said my name. It was genuine, wasn't it, Draco? You did love me."

"And now, I have to say goodbye. I can't keep on holding like this, can I? It's ruining me. I never took off this bracelet ever since you gave it to me. This will be the first time. Goodbye, Draco. I love you. Always," he stared at it with a small smile before unclasping the chain. The rose gold colour faded to charcoal black.

A heartbroken sob slipped past Harry's lips.

It's gonna be okay.
