_____________________________________Harry was on the verge of losing his mind.
Everything and everyone was against him the moment his name was suddenly pulled out of the Goblet of Fire by Dumbledore. Ron had decided to stop talking to him because of the incident, and Hermione... Well, even when she seemed to help him, he knew she sided with Ron more, which was fine with him. It hurts, admittedly, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. Somewhere deep inside him, he knew even when he shouldn't be thinking anything bad about his own best friend that Ron was never going to be not jealous of him, whether it would be because of his money or his 'fame' that he should know more than anyone that Harry didn't ask for it.
After the tournament's first task, he could let himself a slight breath of relief. At least one problem was over. However, when he was given the second task, he could feel his control slipping.
First, he was nowhere near solving the egg.
Second, he couldn't go to classes without feeling eyes on him everywhere.
Third, Draco Malfoy.
Okay, the third problem had always been there since he came to Hogwarts but this time it was glaring at him as if the Sun had personal issues with him, trying to melt him on a hot day. The blond Slytherin made it his mission to make Harry's life more miserable now that everyone had turned their back on him. Could someone give him a break? No? Huh, that's what he thought. He didn't have a normal life back at the Dursleys, Voldemort was constantly after his ass like some creep paedophile, the Ministry fucked up people and then Malfoy, who seemed to can never leave him to be.
But in hindsight, someone kept leaving him cheery notes in his bag that looked and sounded like it was from a genuine person. Harry wasn't sure why but looking at those notes written with perfect cursive penmanship made his days bearable. He even looked forward to it every single day.
And today was one of the days too.

_____________________________________Harry forced down a smile threatening to appear on his face as he read the note. "Thank you for this, whoever you are. I really needed the encouragement," he whispered under his breath, unheard among the ruckus everyone around him was making. "Although..." he trailed off, murmuring as he realised something odd about it. "Your handwriting is really familiar..." he thumbed over the penmanship with a thoughtful frown. "But where had I seen it?"
It was then that he felt a recognisable feeling of a heavy gaze on him. He looked up directly towards the person and to his complete not surprise, it was of course Draco Malfoy.
Stormy grey eyes clashed with his emerald green.
However, Harry noticed that the blond looked lost in thought while looking at him. If not, he would've done something like sneering at him as he usually would or quickly look away, which he had done neither of those. Befuddlement engulfed his mind.
