Harry Potter, an 18-year-old Hogwarts student, Saviour of the Wizarding World, had really hated Draco Malfoy, an 18-year-old former Pureblood Death Eater, at one long point of his life. He knew that. Everyone else in this school knew that too. Hermione and Ron always said he had some sort of obsession with him from the start and it just amplified in the Sixth Year when he apparently went out to full-blown stalking the other. Even Ginny told him that Malfoy was a more constant thought to him rather than his own girlfriend. She was so adamant that he was gay for Malfoy that she even broke up with him saying, "I can't date you when your focus is not solely on me. Harry, Malfoy has always been in your mind since the start."

He just didn't know when his heart had stopped manifesting the hatred until he saw Draco in the recently discovered and had now become the infamous dating site, the Garden of Hogwarts, with Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom. Initially, Ron and Hermione wanted to hang out there, feeling the nature around them as they study and Harry had followed them before he stopped his tracks when he saw the blond(es) pair and the now confident figure of Neville.

Harry's iconic green eyes focused on the top of the delicate person's head where a flower crown was placed. Malfoy looks so beautiful, he thought absentmindedly. His lips felt dry, breath hitching when Draco threw their head back to laugh at whatever Neville was saying, leaning against him with Luna who sat on their lap, looking very free and relaxed. Draco's features looked so soft, less pointy than before, expression genuine and unguarded, unlike the previous years he had known the other.

But then again, everyone had changed after the war happened. Draco had completely disregarded their Pureblood status and stopped trying so hard to please his father when Harry spoke in his trials, defending him adamantly, not accepting any 'no's as an answer. Draco thought of it as a second chance apparently and the moment Harry saw the other in Hogwarts Express, he almost had a nosebleed, seeing that the blond beauty had worn a dress. Can you believe that? Harry felt like it must've been a slap to Lucius' face to see his son wearing a dress and sporting a very long hair that reached his waistline. Harry knew Narcissa didn't mind his son's (or daughter's) choices, supporting him all the way.

Harry had known about the LGBTQ+ community in Hogwarts that Dean and Seamus had founded and it had been a huge success when everyone found out that the Great Saviour Harry Potter was very much bisexual. He had wondered what Draco had changed their gender pronoun to that but obviously, he wouldn't be that insensitive and ask the said person downright. Until further notice, Harry will continue to think of Draco as a 'they/them' in his mind.

"Potter," a soft voice called out his name from behind him.

Harry was startled out of his thoughts and turned around to his caller to see Draco Malfoy standing behind him in a gorgeous soft pink sundress and sandals, the flower crown on top of their head laid undisturbed, long hair fluttering against the soft wind. He blinked, trying to collect his thoughts but couldn't get a word out when he opened his mouth to speak. Draco looked at him with slight concern in their expression. "Are you alright, Potter? You've been standing here for 20 minutes, staring at the fountain. Luna noticed you and told me to ask if you're doing okay."

Harry cleared his throat, not knowing why he was feeling nervous around the blond out of nowhere. "I-I'm fine. I was just l-lost in thought," he averted his gaze elsewhere. Draco smiled gently, placing a soft-looking hand on Harry's arm, gentle and light. This version of Draco reminded him so much of Narcissa more than of his father like he was before. "I saw Weasley and Granger looking at you worriedly under the tree. I think you should go before they really think something is wrong with you if you stand here any longer," Draco giggled.
