Thank god. Four years was long enough. I didn't need any longer than that.

I had to see George.

George's POV

It was Nick's last day. Christmas had gone well and I was glad he convinced me to spend most of it with him and my sister. I had a good time. I had fun. I was happy. But it all went by so quickly.

We were currently driving to the airport, Nick's flight was in half an hour. He was in control of the music so we listened to no more than half a song. I didn't mind. It made him happy.

We got there and I helped with his bags, attempting to lift them out the back of the car. When I finally did, he was stood, patiently, waiting for me to succeed.

"You done?"

"Oh shut up."

I lugged his bags with me and he walked ahead, only looking back to laugh at me struggling.

"Oh haha. Very funny. I'm carrying your bags, dickhead."

"I could take them?"

"No."

"Mmm, okay. Well, stop struggling so loudly then, please?"

"You're such a cock."

"Yes. Yes I am."

We checked him in and continued further into the building. We both went quiet as we got nearer to his gate. This was the third time doing this but that doesn't mean it's any easier.

"Well, this is our goodbye."

"Don't say that. That always seems so final. I don't want you to go."

"I know. But I have to. I'll see you again. Soon. "

"I don't want to cry here so, see you later, I guess."

He smiled, "See you later, George."

We hugged one last time and he walked away slowly.

I got one last wave and then he boarded his plane. It was short, sweet. Alot easier than last time. I'm going to miss him.

I wandered back out of the airport, considering my options for what to do today. I was alone again.

Not for long.

"Hey, Daniel?"

I'd called him. He'd picked up immediately.

"Hey, George!! What's up?"

"Nick's just left. Just boarded the plane."

"So you're alone?"

"Mmm hmm.."

"So, another movie marathon??"

The excitement in his voice made me melt.

"Yes, yes, yes. Please."

"Of course. I'll be at yours in twenty?"

"I'm not even going to be there in twenty. I'm still at the airport."

"Do you need a ride?"

"No, I drove here, don't worry. Be at mine in an hour?"

"Okay, okay. Want anything from the store?"

"You know my favourites?"

"I do, I do. I'll get them. See you in an hour."

"Bye bye."
