CHAPTER 5

Days and months passed by so quickly. TayNew are both busy with their own jobs but they always make sure to spend time together in between those busy schedules.

One way or another they make certain to meet at least twice or thrice a week if given the chance. They also randomly spend the night at each other's places every now and then but this happens once a month, twice if they got lucky with their schedule.

December has been the busiest month for the both of them.

Tay's projects are piled up sometimes giving him three to four photoshoots just for one day.

Newwiee on the other hand was busy visiting their client's businesses and branches, he is out of the office most of the time and going God knows where.

December 20, it was a windy Saturday in the busy streets of Bangkok as Christmas is nearly approaching.

New who is almost done with his site visits had his first Saturday off for the month.

Unfortunately for his boyfriend, he has two scheduled photoshoots today. A morning event at Chinatown and an afternoon photoshoot at Kanchanaburi.

Since it's New's free day, he asked his boyfriend if he can tag along on his afternoon task. Tay happily agreed, it's been long since they spend a day together.

After Chinatown he went to New's house to pick him up, he needed to change clothes and take a quick shower anyway.

Kanchanaburi is a two-hour drive from Bangkok, New insisted on driving there so Tay can rest before going on his next project, but he strongly opposed on the idea.

"I just want you to rest a little so you can have all the energy later", New debated to Tay who is now putting his clothes on.

"No means no", his voice now stiff, "this is the first weekend you're having your day off, there's no way I'm gonna let you drive for me!"

New sat quietly on the bed, pouting.

"If you'll continue pouting just stay here, I can go there by myself", his boyfriend now fixing his hair on the mirror.

"For once why don't you let me do things for you?", New kept on bickering, his patience being put on to test.

Tay stopped on whatever he is doing and looked at him with his eyes wide open, glaring at New who is now about to cry.

"Uhhh!! There's no point in arguing! You're not gonna let me win anyway!", New literally screamed to his lover and walked out of the room.

Tay walked towards his sulking boyfriend and gave him a back hug, "It's not that I don't let you win. You worked overtime last night just so you can have this free day with me. I will feel bad if I let you drive while I take a rest. It's not fair", he voice now calm, "Having the chance to spend time with you like this already gives me the energy to work the whole day. Let's stop fighting na..", he kissed New's left cheek and rest his chin on his shoulder.

New turned around to face him giving him a proper hug, "I'm sorry. I'm just happy to do simple things like this for you, but you won't give me a chance--"

"Shh, it's okay", Tay gently stroked his lover's face before planting a kiss on his soft lips, "it's okay..", their face now close to each other.

As agreed, Tay was driving on their way to Kanchanaburi while they were listening to Ed Sheeran's + Album. "This is my favorite!", New squealed when Give Me Love played on the car's radio and he started singing the song.
