CHAPTER 28

Two days before the send off party. Tay and New were about to have dinner when an unexpected guest rang their doorbell.

"Are you expecting someone?", Tay asked New who was already looking at him.

Confused Newwiee shook his head, "Are you??", he asked back.

Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong!

"So persistent", New went to the living room and peek through the window, "It's Off", he said looking at Tay, "go get the door."

Tay went outside and opened the gate for his bestfriend, but when they came inside there are three of them. There are unexpected guests after all.

"Aw, you're here too!", New chuckled lightly, "I didn't see you outside", he said and gave Gun a hug.

"I'm upset with you", Gun's eyebrows furrowed as he let go of his friend's hug.

"What did I do?"

"Why didn't you tell me about your promotion at work? You should tell important things like this to me! You only care about Tay now."

New's eyes widen as he glared at Tay standing beside Off.

"I told Peng", Tay said pointing at his bestfriend.

"Then I told Gun", Off said with a smile on his face.

"See. I'm the last to know! How could you do that?", Gun continued whining.

"Uh uh. I'm sorry I forgot. I've been busy at work too."

"Congratulations New! You know Gun didn't stop talking about how glad and proud he is, yes, he's very upset but he is very happy for you", Off was standing behind Gun, his hands pressed on his lover's shoulders.

"Of course I'm happy. How long have you been working? Two years? And now you're the supervisor! I'm proud but still very upset."

Off walk near his friend who was already smiling proudly at his boyfriend. "So whipped!", he whispered from which Tay nudge him with his elbow.

"I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you I promise", New regarded his still sulking little friend.

"Yes you should!", he said as he was shaking his index finger at New.

"Uhh okay, okay. Are you two hungry? We're about to eat dinner", New turned to Off then to Gun.

"Ah yes, New cooked chicken in coconut soup and fried rice come join us", Tay walked in the kitchen and bring out two plates and two sets of spoon and fork for their celebrity friends.

"You didn't tell us you're coming I should have cooked your favorite dish", New told Gun while walking to the dining table.

"This is fine, Papi is on a diet too. Look at him, he's getting fat everyday", he giggled mockingly.

"That's because you always ask me to eat out with you. You have such a voracious appetite for a little body like that. All the time I spent at the gym went to waste. Ouii!", Off complained bitterly.

Gun and Tay laughed.

"You're stress eating again?", New asked as he sat beside his bestfriend on the dining table. The older bestfriends looked at each other and sat on the opposite side instead.

"Mm", Gun pouted cutely, "I'm stressed at work lately. I just finished filming my second movie for this year and I have a series coming up soon."
