CHAPTER 31

TAWAN'S POV

I was really glad to finally meet Hin's workmates. I haven't met any of his friends except for Gun who happened to be my friend long before I even met Hin. So this is the first time I get to meet some of his acquaintances and it excites me more than anything.

This is going to be fun!

Sammy is everything Hin described, bubbly and sort of clingy. I really want to get off her hand when she held it a little too long.

Am I wrong to say I am Newwiee's bf? I guess I should've been more specific. I don't want to get in trouble with my Hin, especially not tonight.

She still didn't let my hand go even when she introduced the guy she was with. I'm starting to get uncomfortable and scared for my life but when I saw Hin all looking fine it made me think, is he not jealous at all?

"Actually it's boyfriend."

Ahhh, my heart! I can literally hear its sudden rapid beating!

I didn't even noticed when and how Sam let go of my hand. What Hin said was unexpected, and that totally caught me by surprise. My heart is actually overflowing with happiness right now.

I was taken aback when I heard someone scream Hin's name.

Oh, so this is Janhae. I only know her by name but this is the first time I'm seeing her. Hin always talks about her everytime I randomly ask him about his work. He even quoted one time 'Thank God for Jan for keeping me sane'.

They must be really close since Jan already knows I'm the boyfriend. I held the hand she extended when Hin introduced us and I kissed her hand as she seems she's asking for it. Hin seemed to be fine with it as well.

I smiled as I made quite an impression with Hin's friend. She even said she liked me.

"Really? But you can't have him, he's mine already."

I almost passed out on what Hin said. Just when I thought my heart is already full, here he is pouring happiness in it some more. Ahh, Hin and his crazy antics.

"Oh, there's boss. Let's go pay respect first."

"Go ahead New, you know much I hate your boss!", Janhae frowned while she's looking from where their boss is at.

"Aw. Will you be fine alone?", he asked his friend.

Alone? He's taking me with him? Okay, that I didn't see coming. I saw their boss from afar earlier, and I already knew that's him because he's the only old person on the crowd full of youngsters. I don't mean to be judgemental but he looks like a braggart perfectionist, so, I pass on meeting him. Hin have a reputation anyway, I don't want to ruin it.

"Hin, go ahead. I'll just wait for you here."

"You sure?"

"Of course. I'll keep Jan company, see if she knows something about you that I don't know yet."

"Jan, if you're my true friend, don't say anything to him."

I watched Hin walk towards from where his boss is with a woman who must be the wife. Hin smiled and waiid at both of them from which the woman gave him a hug.

"Do you usually stare at New like that?", Janhae asked. Was I watching Hin too long?

"Yeah, some times", I answered with a smile.

"By the way Jan, are you doing anything after this? Our friends are throwing a party for Hin--I mean New later. I think you should come with us."
