NEWWIEE THITIPOOM'S POV

I don't know why I am feeling down, upset and mad all the while. I've been waiting for this day for God knows how long. I was even playing scenarios in my head on how our rendezvous would go.

I was thinking maybe he will hug me and tell me how much he missed me then I will tell him back how much I miss him too.

Or maybe I would see him with another girl, probably someone he dates or worse, someone he's in a commitment with.

Or maybe he would totally ignore me and I would totally understand knowing I deserve it after our breakup.

Our breakup.

It's crazy how the word still hurts me.

However, out of all the possible scenarios, how did I not visualize the most standard scene. That he would be so cool seeing me. He smiled at me the way he did to everyone. He talks to me like some old acquaintance, not some old flame. I was even assuming he would get jealous if he sees me with Earth.

But in the end, it was me who got jealous.

I mean... Who is that girl? Is she her girlfriend? She looked like she just graduated high school!! Is Tay pulling a Nicky?

"... Newwiee? Newwiee!!"

It was Earth.

I sighed, closed my eyes, and pretended to be asleep. Did I just forget who I am with and where am I? Where did my thoughts bring me?

"Holy shit!!", Earth suddenly hit the brakes and my head spiraled from the impact. Thank goodness to anyone who invented seatbelts or else my head will come out of the windshield and I will die.

"What is it Earth??", I asked nervously. I don't know what did he hit since I was looking at my window the whole time before closing them and I don't see any car in front of us.

"Oh, there you are! I thought I left you."

He said sarcastically and suppress his urge to laugh.

"Why are you playing? We could have been in an accident you jerk!"

"I've been talking here like a real jerk for the last thirty minutes and you didn't regard one word. What are you thinking?"

I sighed yet again.

"Is it Tay?"

I sighed some more.

"Are you upset he didn't pay much attention to you?"

I bit my lower lip and swallowed dryly when I felt like crying.

"Newwiee, talk to me. Say what's on your mind?"

"You sound like your boyfriend", I said and forced a smile.

"And if he's here he will keep on pressing you to share your thoughts. So what is it?"

I sighed. I know, there's too much sighing for the last minute.

"Earlier, while I was at the dark corner waiting for you outside, I saw Tay calling out some girl love. That girl handed him his camera, then they went back inside together."

Earth just nodded his head while letting me do all the talk. I don't know what's with this guy but it only takes one look from him and I will instantly feel comfortable. Perhaps this is something he adapted from his partner over time.

"When we're leaving I saw them again walking to the parking lot and it looks like they are going home together. Is it possible that they're together together? Do you think that's the reason why he didn't feel awkward around me? Because he had already moved on? And had completely forgotten about me?"
