CHAPTER 30

NEWWIEE'S POV

We arrived at The Gardens 15 minutes before the party will start but almost everyone was there already.

All of my colleagues brought their plus one so if I'm gonna count heads there are probably 20 or so in this party.

I suddenly got nervous that I'll be speaking in front of these people, some I didn't even know.

"Hin?", I jumped when Tay called me out. Right. I have my boyfriend with me.

I inhaled, then exhaled, slowly blowing off some air.

"Let's go in?"

Tay gave me a nod and smiled at me as he held my hand, "Would this be okay?", he asked referring to his hand holding mine.

I laughed that I suddenly felt good pain on my stomach.

"If you want to skip introductions then yeah, this is okay", I said smilingly.

We walked hand in hand on the way inside the restaurant not really minding what would people say about me.

"Heyyy Supervisor!", it was Sammy. Looking all glittery with her golden yellow dress. Beside her was a man with round eyes already smiling at us.

"You look so hot! And look! We have the same color! We're like couple!", she said pointing at our clothes.

I smiled at her and I heard Tay giggle softly behind me, "Hey Sammy. You look good too, and blinding."

She laughed even when I'm being sarcastic.

"But wait! This one looks hot, too!", her fingers gliding on Tay's black blazer. The man she's with was just shaking his head as if he's used to Sammy's behavior.

"Hi there. I'm Samantha, but you can call me Sammy", her eyes glazing and a small pout formed her lips as she tuck her hair on her ears before extending her arm.

"Hi Sammy!", Tay reached for her hand executing a handshake instantly, "I'm Tay, Newwiee's bf."

"Oh!", Sammy gave out her biggest smile as she regarded her company that's been standing beside her the whole time, "I'm with my bestfriend, too."

The man beside him waiid to us alternately.

"This is Yacht, we've been bestfriend since we learned how to walk", she giggled, "so that's like our whole life long. What about you guys?", she asked, her hand still clasping Tay's.

"Actually it's boyfriend", I stated as I make my right to claim.

Tay blinked at me, I saw his adam's apple move up and down as he swallowed dryly.

"Aw, P'New! Why didn't you tell me?", a pout formed yet again on her face as she narrowed her eyes on me and waiid before apologizing on her brazenness flirting with my boyfriend.

I chuckled lightly. I'm a jealous person but Sam's not a threat so I didn't mind her getting all touchy with Tay. At least not yet.

"It's fine Sam! Who would've though, right?"

"You two actually look good together, although either of you would look even better as my boyfriend!", she giggled hysterically which earned her a pinch on the waist from her bestfriend.

Yacht regarded me and Tay and apologize on her behalf although he didn't need to.

Sammy is Sammy. Some may find her guts irritating but that's what actually makes her unique. Only she can impudently act all coquettish without having intimidation on the other party's side.
