NEWWIEE'S POV

We were walking around the area and Tay was as always busy taking pictures of me asking me to stand up, to sit down, to look up to the sky, to tilt my head like this, or like that, to strike a pose like I'm some kind of a subject from his session until I got tired and literally begged him to stop.

"Aren't you sick of doing this, Te?"

"Doing what?", he asked back smilingly while checking the photos he took.

"You know, taking pictures. I mean, you already do this everyday."

"Not with my favorite subject."

I smiled embarassedly and felt my cheeks grew hot. Probably because we've been under the sun for quite a while now.

"Can I see?", I move beside him to sneakily look at the pictures but he was fast as he quickly turned if off and waved his index finger at me.

"I'll let you see them later. Or send them all to you at once when we reach home."

As if.

I scoffed then shook my head, "Can't you let go of your camera for a while and appreciate the beautiful view with your eyes, not with your lens."

"I appreciate the beautiful view", he tilted my chin up with his left hand then squished my cheeks, "this, is such cute view!", he added.

I swatted away his hand and my eyebrows furrowed while rubbing my maltreated cheeks, "You squeezed it too hard!", I screamed as I released my jaw and massaged my face. My abusive boyfriend who was clearly enjoying me in pain only laughed at me.

"Oh!", his voice raised in excitement when we came across a restaurant along the way to the beach, "authentic food Hin!", he said giddily while pointing at the menu displayed outside.

"I thought you're not hungry."

"I am now", he answered, eyes still on the menu, his index finger roaming around looking for his favorite dish, "Oui! They have yellow curry!"

There you go.

"We should try here. Check this out Hin, their chicken rice looks enticing."

"It actually looks tempting. Let's go inside", I answered tepidly.

Like seriously? We could go Western or Italian for a change, but my boyfriend still chose our very own cuisine which are all over Bangkok by the way.

I sighed heavily as we entered the place.

While waiting for our orders, the usual Tay yet again took photos of the fancy restaurant. It was superfine. Since there are not a lot of people dining, we saw how beautiful the place is.

It looks so modern with its bold, minimalistic style decoration with mural art of giant guardian, temple, elephant, lotus, thuk thuk and a lot more, blending with polished concrete floors.

It also gives you a distinct vintage vibes with the displayed old memorabilia together with record players and other nostalgic bric-a-brac that shows its retro charm.

One thing that fascinated us is the blue cupboard which looks like somewhat came from Ayutthaya period. Tay insisted that it was a blue vintage refrigerator but then I was so persistent that it's too small for a fridge.

We only stopped bickering when the waiter came in bringing tray of foods, and told us that it was actually a vault when he noticed us fighting. We just laughed it off after realizing we wasted time over a nonsense arguement.
