I was staring at a laughing Hin when he caught me looking, already smiling at him. He raised both his eyebrows at me and gave me a wink. I chuckled lightly as I suppress a smile before I tried to look away.

"So whipped!", Peng's face suddenly came out of nowhere, I was startled that I almost smacked the shit out of his pretty face.

"Ai Peng! Don't do something like that again if you don't want to end up with a broken nose!", I yelled at him while I was holding my weak heart. He, Lee and Pearwah was just laughing off at me.

"Where are the rest?", Peng asked as he sat on the empty couch at my right side.

"Arm's out of town while Nicky helped his girlfriend..", Lee answered while casually browsing on his phone.

"Girlfriend??", me and Peng looked at each other after we said that in unison.

"..with her thesis", he added.

"She's just a student??", Peng asked exaggeratedly, "that pedophile!"

"She's graduating though.."

"Well, that's fine. At least she's old enough to know what kind of problem she put herself into", I commented sarcastically.

"..in high school."

"Nooo way!!", Off said in a very deep voice.

"Really??", I questioned in utter disbelief. I never thought Nicky would go that far.

"Uhh!!", Lee flashed Nicky's sent picture on his phone, it was him and his arm around a girl wearing a high school uniform, while the girl's head leaning on Nicky's chest and both hands wrapped around his waist, "you should check our group chat from time to time if you want updates on our lives!"

Me and Peng were left with our jaw hanging.

"You guys are so funny! Look how clueless you are. You should see your faces in the mirror", Pear chuckled, "What have you beem doing? I mean, I understand if Off's busy, he's a superstar. But what about you, Tay? Is your work in great demand lately? Thay you don't have time to check on your friends?"

Mean bitch.

Pearwah is the exact opposite of Lee. She is nice yeah, but very mean, and she always says what she wants to say without hesitating. While Lee, on the other hand, seldomly says what's on his mind. Maybe that's why they clicked. They are the perfect definition of 'opposite attracts, same repels'.

"Yes ma'am, my schedule is so tight I don't even have time to date. Not to gloat or something but you can now also find me in Google as one of the sought after photographers in the city", I bragged, raising my left eyebrow.

"Woah I love the confidence! I like how you said that without even blinking. Or stuttering", she said as she fistbumped me, "Sorry bout the dating part though, that sucks."

"Does he looks like someone who doesn't have time to date? His face glowing with so much love", Peng cupped my face, "he never looked this good before!"

"Fuck you and your weird compliments!", I gritted my teeth as I swat away his hands.

They just laughed at me.

"Hey, when am I going to meet your boyfriend? I don't even know what he's like, Lee won't tell me anything."

"He's.. fine, just scary. I'll introduce you later, if I get the chance to steal him from his friends."
