NEWWIEE THITIPOOM'S POV

I was walking on my way home from our neighborhood convenience store when I saw Tay anxiously pacing back and forth outside my house from afar. His left hand scratching his nape while the other was in his pocket.

I stopped and hid in the shed of a closed boutique and heaved a deep sigh.

It was a happy sigh, actually as I kept smiling.

I stayed there for a while to finish my ice cream before proceeding with my walk home because...

Tay might call me out for eating sweets before bedtime which may result in me staying up all night.

Or

Not. Because why would he? He never cared since we separated.

But it's funny that I am still smiling just seeing him all fidgety like this.

Tiny raindrops began pouring but Tay stood still, stretching his arm while eyeing the drops falling on his palm.

I smiled yet again before silently running towards him.

"Are you lost, baby boy?", I asked smirking, spoofing the line from the movie I recently watched with Gun and Off. Not a good idea watching it with them though.

He stared at me intently, as if making sure he was looking at the right person.

"Hi..?", I tilted my head and lightly waved my free hand.

He sighed so deeply that his shoulder sagged down while walking nearer to me and grabbed me from my waist, his left hand grappling on my nape pulling me closer for a hug.

My waving hand froze mid-air and almost drop the plastic bag I was carrying and I instinctively raised my heels off the ground when he held me tighter.

I was shookt.

I wanted to say something but words won't come out.

He's not saying anything either.

We just stood there, ignoring the light rain pouring over us.

I heard him inhale through my shoulder while stroking my hair and I let him hug me for probably another good minute before patting his back when I noticed the raindrops getting heavier.

I don't like the rain.

"Do you want to come in?", I asked when he finally let go and answered me with a wrist grab as we run inside the house somewhat soaking.

He was sitting quietly on the single couch when I passed him a towel and a change of shirt. His hands pressed together and his elbows leaned on his shaking legs.

"Are you cold?", I asked concernedly and went straight to the kitchen, "do you want coffee or anything? Did you eat? I'll-- see if I can fix something."

I don't have anything. Just some authentic snacks Mix asked me to buy since they haven't much time before leaving. I don't have noodles neither coffee nor tea for this cold weather.

Why did I even ask when I don't have anything to offer? Stupid. The last and actually only option I have aside from tap water are the canned beers I have left from nights ago. I ended up grabbing two cans and sighed in relief/frustration. This is better than nothing.

"I'm fine, New. Don't bother."

Finally a word from Tay.

But too late. I was already walking back to the living room when he said that.
