San fell out of bed when the sun came up.
Literally.
His muscles ached and his head hurt and he wanted nothing more than to just sleep for one more minute...
'San what the fuck are you doing on the floor?'
Rolling over, pulling his blankets entirely off of his bed and onto the floor with him, San groaned.
'Am-sleep. Goway,' he mumbled, shading his eyes from the single ray of sunlight that had somehow found its way to his face.
'You'll thank me for this later.'
With a squeal of the mattress as it took the weight of a man climbing onto it, and a swoosh of curtains being opened, light exploded in the small room, making San groan even louder. 'Mingi!!!' His eyes squeezed shut as he heard his roommate climb back down off of his bed.
'I thought you said you were teaching at eight this morning?'
'Mmm,' he groaned, pulling his blankets up.
'You know it's almost eight, right?'
San's eyes shot open. 'Eight?!' Immediately, he saw the image of Mingi squatting down before him with an amused expression on his face. San looked around, looking quite similar to a meerkat in that moment, before he suddenly started thrashing around in his tangled blankets, trying desperately to be freed of their hold.
Laughing, Mingi stood up, walking over to his door. 'I made extra lunch for you. It's in the fridge. I have class from eight thirty till ten thirty. I'll pop by the studio after. Your instructing clothes are on the couch out here, they were on the line.'
San, who had been tearing through his draws looking for his dance clothes, suddenly looked up as Mingi mentioned his workwear. 'Mingi, I love you, you're a godsend and I don't tell you enough.' He tore past Mingi, before suddenly running back, and extremely briefly pinching the boy's cheeks. Rushing back to the couch, he tore off his clothes and pulled on his training ones.
'Told you you'd thank me,' Mingi said grinning. He walked over and opened the door to their dorm, and just as he did, San went tearing outside.
'Enjoy uni!' he called over his shoulder as he ran, and just moments after, he was out of sight.
Mingi laughed.
Some things never changed.
