'Hyung! Hyung Hyung Hyung! Look!'
Super excited, Wooyoung waited for Hongjoong and Yeosang to come into his room, a massive smile on his face.
'Oh? Woo~' Yeosang breathed, his worried face relaxing immediately. Coming over to where Wooyoung was sitting on the side of his bed, he beamed down at him. 'You got dressed all by yourself!... You didn't hurt yourself, right?'
Wooyoung shook his head. 'I can almost touch my toes again~!'
Beaming up at his Hyungs, Wooyoung opened his arms wide as Yeosang stepped forward to give him a hug. 'I'm so proud of you, Woo,' Yeosang breathed, rubbing his back.
With his cheek smooshed up against Yeosang's chest, Wooyoung could see Hongjoong smiling, and so he reached an arm out for him. 'Joong-ah, I'm getting better, aren't I~?'
Stepping forward and sitting on the bed beside Wooyoung, Hongjoong nodded. 'Yes you sure are. But make sure you don't overdo it, okay? Your body is still trying to build its strength again, and you're still recovering from surgery.' He reached out and rubbed Wooyoung's back.
'I'll be careful~. I promise.' Leaning into Hongjoong's touch, Wooyoung felt like he'd never been happier. Only a few days at home and he had come so far. All he wanted was for things to go back to normal, so his Hyungs wouldn't worry anymore...
'When do you think I'll be able to walk more?' Wooyoung asked softly.
'Be patient, Woo,' Hongjoong said softly. 'Just do a little bit every day, and in time, you'll be able to do all the things you could do before.'
Wooyoung pouted. 'But how long...?' he asked shyly.
Yeosang pulled back and knelt before him, forcing Wooyoung to look down at him. 'Woo, hun, slow steps. It could be a few weeks, or it could be a few months. We can't tell you, babe. But it will be longer if you don't let yourself rest enough and end up hurting yourself.'
Wooyoung nodded sadly. 'I will rest lots~' he said, smiling down at his brother.
'Good,' Yeosang breathed. He leaned forward, wrapping his arms around Woo's waist for a moment before he withdrew. 'Let's watch a movie. Shall we?'
And Wooyoung smiled widely. 'Okay~.'
