Yunho put his phone down and leaned over to check Jongho's answers. 'Looks good. I don't think you even need me anymore, you've got it all down.'

Jongho smiled widely. 'I think I needed someone to ask little questions to. It's hard when there's no one to help you when you don't get it...'

Yunho smiled. 'I get it. It's totally fine. You know, you can always just text me your questions? You don't have to wait to ask nine thousand when we get together.'

Jongho smiled sheepishly. 'I know... But I feel bad. You don't get paid for that...'

Yunho chuckled. 'I don't get paid for this either, so calm down. It's fine.'

Jongho's eyes widened. 'Wait, but I pay you every lesson!' He picked up the envelope on the table and waved it in front of his face.

'And every lesson, I give it to my mother and she gives it back to your mother. I actually put a tiny red cross in the right hand corner to see if it was a boomerang, and well...'

As Jongho turned the envelope over, inspecting all the possible corners, sure enough, one had a tiny red cross the size of half an ant. He choked. 'B-but-'

'No buts. I don't accept money for tutoring. Especially when it's someone who really wants to learn. Knowledge is meant to be shared, not bought.'

Jongho's eyes went puppy-like and it melted Yunho. He reached out and closed Jongho's hand around the envelope. 'Keep it. It's fine. I mean it. This envelope gets more exercise than most of society.'

'B- but it's not fair... You help me so much, and you get nothing in return...'

Yunho reached out and ruffled his hair, a movement that had happened automatically, but one that he instantly recognised as foreign to him... Where had he gotten that behaviour from...? An image of Mingi ruffling the children's hair up flashed in his mind, and he exhaled a laugh. Of course.

'Jongho, I get plenty in return for tutoring you. You don't need to worry.'

The younger bit his lip for a second before huffing. 'I wish I could be more like you.'

Yunho laughed in shock. 'What? Why?'

'Because you have everything sorted out. You have strong morals and you know so much about medicine... I always feel like I'm kind of walking around blind. I know I want to do this, but I guess I don't really know what I'm getting myself into...'

Yunho couldn't help but laugh at the first part. 'Jongho, I am the opposite of what you just said. If you think that I know what I want...' He paused for a moment, glancing down at his phone. 'Wait- You know, they say talking to those who 'know' inspires confidence... Are you busy now? You should come with me for drinks.'

Jongho laughed. 'Why?'

'Some friends are getting together for the first time in like, ever I guess. Most of them are in medicine so you could talk to them. I don't know about Seonghwa's friends, I've never met them. But the guys I know... I think talking to them would help you a lot to learn a little bit about the field you are going into.'

Jongho's lips smiled widely. 'Really? They wouldn't mind if I came?'

Yunho smirked at the boy's plain enthusiasm. 'Pack up your stuff. Let's go.'
