San felt his heart melt as he watched Wooyoung crawl up onto the bed and into his arms. Surrounded by pillows and blankets, Wooyoung hummed in content and nuzzled into his chest.
'Sannie~' he hummed, tucking his chin against him.
'Mmm?' San wrapped his arms around him, pulling a blanket over him.
'Nothing.' Wooyoung let his weight rest against him. 'Sannie~.'
He exhaled in amusement. 'Are you enjoying yourself?'
'Very much so~.'
Brushing the boy's blonde hair, San melted. 'You're adorable, I love you so muc-'
Suddenly, his eyes widened, and Wooyoung stiffened in his arms. After a few moments, he leant back, and San felt his chest tighten.
'I- I-' Words failed San.
Slowly, Wooyoung's eyes lifted, and when they met San's, they searched desperately.
'D-did you mean that...?'
San's stomach filled with butterflies from nervousness. 'I- I think I did...'
A long drawn out pause fell over the two. How easy had those words slipped from his lips. But looking at Wooyoung's face, he couldn't read whether or joy he'd just spooked him or not. The boy's eyes were wise and full of obvious surprise, but beyond that, they were unreadable.
At least, until Wooyoung reached a hand up and ever so slowly and gently, pressed his hand against his cheek. 'I- I think I... I think I love you... too...'
And suddenly San could breathe. He hadn't planned anything of it... it had been a pure accident...
'H-hearing that... from you... c-can you say that again?' San looked desperately into the eyes of Wooyoung, pleading...
Wooyoung's lips trembled a little, brushing his thumb against his cheek... 'I think I love you, San...'
San's cheeks flushed, his chest filling with content. 'I like the way that sounds on your lips...'
Wooyoung smiled. 'I like the way it sounds on your lips too~.'
