Sitting up in bed, gazing at the doctor before him, Wooyoung's eyes lit up like fairy lights on a Christmas tree.

'I can go home?! You're serious?! I can really go home?' He looked at each of his Hyung's, searching for some sign that maybe there was a but coming. However no such thing surfaced.

Tears immediately formed in his eyes, and as his eyes turned to Yeosang, he saw the expression on his brother's face and it only reminded him of yesterday.

'Hyung... Sangie... We can go home...' He took his brother's hand in his own as he gazed up into those chocolate brown eyes. 'Home.'

Yeosang caved, pulling Wooyoung into his arms.

'I know you've been extremely keen to get out of the hospital and go home, so I got the nurses to process your discharge before I came in.' Kim Sa Bu put a folder of paperwork on the end of the bed, smiling down at his patient. 'You're free to go, Wooyoung,' he said cheerfully. 'So long as you listen to Hongjoong and keep resting, I know Kim Saem will take good care of you from your own bed, rather than from here.'

Wooyoung felt like all of his prayers had finally been answered. He had wanted to go home from the moment he arrived, and finally, it was going to happen.

'You're one strong man, Wooyoung. You have made an incredible recovery. You should be very proud of yourself.'

'Thank you...' Wooyoung replied shyly, but that wasn't what he was most happy about. He couldn't have cared less whether he made an 'incredible recovery' or not. All that mattered in that moment, even over his own fear of the hospital walls, was the sheer relief on both of his Hyung's faces. Wooyoung hated being the reason that the both of them had put their lives on pause, and he hated even more that he was the reason that they were so distressed.

He'd done his absolute best to hide his pain, especially when Yeosang had spent most nights crying when he thought he was asleep, or when Hongjoong had whispered apologies thinking he wouldn't be heard. Wooyoung had tried his absolute best to hide his tears, especially when Yeosang would brush his left cheek in the dead of the night - a tear slipping down the other side and into his pillowcase as though it had never existed at all. And he'd tried his absolute best to hide his fear, especially when Hongjoong had bitten back his own worry and acted with a brave and smiling face.

But he could go home now, and surely that would be the first step to life going back to normal. There would be less tears shed, less whispered apologies and less hidden pain. They would be happy again.

It was all that Wooyoung wanted.

For his family to be happy.
