Tinkerbell ♥ Peter Pan

Wednesday

Early in the morning, a message from Robert Valera:

"Sa susunod na magiisip ka ng magagandang bagay, huwag mong kalimutang isama ang sarili mo~~"

I am trying to make it a habit to eat breakfast. Feeling ko kasi nabobobo ako kapag walang kain sa umaga. I realized that indeed, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Sa Hele room ako kumain with T. Josie..

T. Josie: "When is the long table?"

Me: "Huh? Cher?"

T. Josie: "You don't know what the long table is?"

Me: "Hindi ko po alam yun cher."

T. Josie: "When is your wedding?"

Me: "Ahhhhhhh... Nako cher. Bukas na bukas po. :D"

T. Josie: "How old are you na ba teach?"

Me: "23 po. Joke lang cher. Pero niloloko na po ako na magpakasal na daw po kami sa Huwes."

T. Josie: "Why not? When I got married at 22, I have no idea of being a wife and a mother. But I liked it because I can see my children growing up.. I'll see my grandchildren as well. How about him? How old is he?"

Me: "Same lang po."

T. Josie: "They say guys should be older because women mature ahead than them."

Me: "Yes, cher. I totally agree. And there are things that I just can't agree with him. Like his hobbies. Pero I'm trying to understand naman po."

T. Josie: "Why?Ano bang mga hilig niya? May bisyo ba?"

Me: "Wala po. Yun nga din po ang isang ipinagpapasalamat ko. But he likes extreme sports and card games. Plus, he doesn't like teaching. He wants a change of career - game designing."

T. Josie: "Ahhh.. Kaya naman pala. Just let him be. Yung extreme sports, ok yun for exercise for him to be physically fit. As for the card games, I think it's his way to connect with his desire of becoming a game designer. Try to engage yourself as well to the things he like."

Me: "Ganun na nga po. Iniintindi ko na lang."

T. Josie: "He's the eldest, right?"

Me: "Yes po. Pero laking Lola."

T. Josie: "Ay nako. Haha. Isip-isip, kung siya na nga ba talaga. If he's not mature enough, hintayin mo na lang din. Even though we make the men feel they're superior. I have to say that women are still the homemakers. We are behind the success or failure of the men."

This reminds me of a Facebook post I have read not too long ago.. Shinare ko na rin kay T. Josie.

The story goes when Barack and Michelle Obama decided to eat dinner in a restaurant. The restaurant owner was eager to talk to Michelle Obama and Barack allowed it.

When Michelle returned, Barack asked, "What did the owner tell you?" Michelle replied to him, "He said he just wanted to tell me how much he  adored me. He planned in confessing to me long time ago but we got married."

Barack was stunned and said, "If we didn't get married, then you'll be the wife of the owner of this lovely restaurant." But Michelle replied, "No. He will be the next U.S. President."

After I told her this story, T. Josie said, "it really depends on us what our partner will become."

Napapatango na lang ako. I was thinking, successful naman si EJ right? So far, what influence did I have on him? Am I making him a better person?
