Adviser Feels
Monday
Following my schedule was easy today. Narealize ko na ang ganda pala ng teaching load ko kasi apat lang. English 4, Filipino 1, Recess, Science 2 and English 2 with a total of 220 minutes. ^-^ Sana lang talaga maramdaman ko yung mga vacant time ko.
And I am really trying to enjoy my new responsibility as an adviser.
¤ May limang maling notebook pala akong naibigay kay Reign. Those were composition notebooks instead of writing notebooks. Buti na lang hindi sinulatan ni Reign at may extra available na materials pa for lower grades na nasa Preschool table na easy access kaya napalitan ko agad. Phew.
¤ I talked to Kelly's mom because she's planning to have the Jollibee delivered tomorrow, post handa ni Kelly since bday niya nung Friday. Isinama ko ang mga Kuya's at Guards sa bilang. And also, nawawala daw yung ibang credentials ni Kelly. Hindi raw mahanap ni Teacher Daisy so I asked Teacher Josie, baka sakaling naaalala niya, "Teach, goodam po! Do you remember Kelly? We are looking for her credentials po kasi, mommy said she already submitted to one of the teachers daw po. Just want to ask teach, if you have an idea. Thank you po and God bless~" But then, I think she also doesn't have any idea. She replied, "Just look at the folders I gave to t. Daisy or look at the drawer in the office. When did she take the test?"
¤ I assisted Samantha since ngayon lang siya pumasok. I talked to her lola and tita (ata) about what Sam missed last week. Hiningan ko rin sila ng pic ni Sam with white background because she missed the ID picture taking. They went to Cebu raw and they thought na sabay ng Diego ang pasok sa branch. Ngayon lang din sila nagbayad ng books and other materials kaya ako na rin ang nag release. When I told them about me trying to contact them and both numbers cannot be reached, they told me na nawala daw pala yung mga phones na yun so I asked for their new number.
¤ Rev bumped his head on the rubber pad while playing in the playground. Tsk. Wala namang tumulak sa kanya. Pinalagyan ko na lang ng ice pack and then informed his mom about the incident. Ayoko ng mag-incident report no. Meron na nga si Toff kay Jasi Mislang eh. Hindi pa sila nag PE nun ah? They were just doing an exercise in the book. Tapos sabi ni Mommy, sa Saturday na lang daw ipacheck.
May bagong chika sila Teacher Daisy, namemohan daw sila Teachers Emy at Florence dahil naabutan ni Sir TJ na nagbebreakfast sa back gate before their official time. Oooh. So, ang point daw ni Sir TJ, sa bahay daw dapat kumain ng breakfast. That's not so very good news to me. Tsk!
When Kylie asked about refilling her water bottle, she came back with a note from Toff that says, "Paalala mo na may sasabihin ako sa'yo. - Ivan" So when I needed a stapler, I asked Reign to get it in the faculty (Dinala ko na yun eh. Dinala ata ni T. Quinie pagkalabas niya kanina) and gave the piece paper back with my reply, "Hanggang 5pm pa ko. Nakakatakot naman yan. - April"
Tapos he just suddenly showed up asking for my phone. Tatawagan niya raw si Ms. Del. Pero bukod dun, ang totoong sasabihin pala niya sakin eh ako ang representative ng branch na ipapadala sa Diego para sa Reconition Day Practice so just for confirmation, I texted T. Daisy.
Me: "Cheeer daisy, good eve po. This is t. April. Sa diego po ako magrereport tomorrow until friday?"
T. Daisy: "Sa umaga teach pagkatapos ng practice balik ka ng guada kc till 2:30 lang ang practice. Sa friday hanggang hapon na tayo kc till 4:30 ang recog. Nyt."
Haaay. Kahit pala 220 minutes lang ang teaching load ko. Hindi rin ganun kagaan ang trabaho. All around pa rin ako despite ng pagiging adviser. So, I could still feel like I'm a floating teacher. See? Ako pa rin ang palaging ipapatapon sa Diego in times like this kasi ako ang pinakamagaan ang load. Meaning, ako raw ang pinakamadaling gawan ng substitution. -_- My fate.
