It was the deadliest prom night since Carrie's. Riverdale High had been overrun by the Black Hood, my girlfriend's dad. And the Gargoyle King, true identity yet to be determined. We needed answers starting with the true story behind Hal Coopers death or lack there of.

Mercy POV

I sit in Archie's office as I organize files and make a list of things that's needed and has to be done. Munroe finally deemed me safe enough to leave me here while he did some things.

He also talked me down into going back home, he said a lot of bull crap but I just decided to go with it to avoid a possible unnecessary argument.

Archie:Mercy... Hey.

I look up at him and smile.

Me:What's up, Mountain man?

Archie:How are you doing?

I nod, double checking my math.

Me:I'm fine, you? Ronnie told me how your matches went.

He leans next to me on the desk and I lean back into the seat and look at him.

Archie:I'm good now. But how did Mad Dog do?

Me:He won, he has another fight in two weeks.

Archie:That's amazing! I'm happy for him, he deserves it.

Me:Yeah, but Archie, really? Starving yourself?

Archie*sighs* I know I know, it's just that, I didn't think I'd be a issue.

Me:Two fights back to back? On you weren't even running on fumes. It was just pure luck. If you're going to box you gotta learn your limits.

Archie:I understand that now, so how are the books?

Me:Well, a lot needs to be done but it's very achievable.

Archie:Well as long as it's achievable, right?

Me:Yup, now I'll get out of your office, I know how bosses get.

Archie:*laughing* You're fine, you're doing more in here than I ever will.

Me:Well, when you need me, let me know.

We walk out and Archie speaks.

Archie:Actually I do need your help.

Me:And that is?

Archie:I challenged Hiram Lodge to a fight, I need to get this place ready.

Me:Sure, leave it up to me, but Ronnie is handling bets, I'm not touching people's money.

I walk put the money in the safe before walking back out and into the locker room, where Archie, Munroe and Mr. Keller are waiting.

Archie:How's the turn out?

I smirk.

Me:Can't you hear? It's a full house plus La Bonne Nuit is packed.

My phone beeps and check it seeing the text before looking at them.

Me:Show time, fellas.

I walk out as the music starts, Archie makes it into the ring and soon Hiram. Once they punch gloves and the bell rings.

Hiram isn't holding a punch but the Archie is taking them all, Soon Hiram grabs Archie punching into his gut, well its nice to see he's still playing dirty. They break apart when I see them pull their gloves off. Great, a blood bath, that's not gonna be fun to clean up. I hope Ms. Andrews has insurance.
