The week started like no other. Who would have guessed where I'd be by the end?
Mercy POV
Monday
I double check my notes as I play with my necklace.
Sweet pea:Mercy!
I look up and grin.
Me:My favorite badass what's up?
Sweet pea:You study for English?
Me:That's what I'm doing now.
Sweet pea:Afterwards wanna ditch?
Me:Um, yes. We can go to pops I need a milkshake.
The bell rings and I put my notebook back in the locker and we head to class.
Tuesday Night
La Bonne Nuit is packed, and if it wasn't for my boyfriends convincing words I wouldn't be here, in this actual party dress with bodies not even 6 inches away and Munroe's hands on my hips.
Veronica:Mercy and Munroe! What a surprise seeing you two here.
I smile and hug her, doing the same with Archie, Munroe and Archie do the same.
Me:How's the maple club doing?
Ronnie:Oh you know, flourishing without my father's knowledge.
Me:As usual great to hear.
Ronnie:And is there a reason for you guys being here?
Me:No, actually we just wanted to get out.
Soon Archie comes up to us Munroe next to him.
Archie:I gotta get to Andrews construction tomorrow morning, I'll see you guys later.
Veronica:Boo! Come on our friends are here and we said it'll be a good night.
Archie looks at us before kissing Ronnie goodbye.
Archie:Bye guys.
Us:Bye.
I rub Ronnie's arm and she pouts.
Me:Gotta love a responsible man right?
Ronnie:*pouting* No.
I shake my head and pat her arm before I lead Munroe back to the dance floor.
Wednesday
I stare at the screen as Alex glares at me.
Me:Why are you acting like such a bitch?
Alex:Watch the bitch word you whore.
Me:Why can't we do it? It'll work.
Alex:It's fucking contradictory that's why!
Me:You teach healthy eating habits, why can't there be a healthy restaurant or bar in the same building?
Alex:Because soon people will go for the restaurant or bar rather than the actual gym.
