Mercy POV

I sit on the couch's arm rest as Veronica tells us about some trip.

Veronica:Fair warning. Our Shadow Lake chalet is rustic, but it's has breath- taking views of the mountains, the water...

Betty:Oh, my God. That sounds heavly, Vee. What do you say Jug?

Archie:Jenson, you and Mercy coming?

Jenson:*shrugging* Sure I'm down, you?

I nod and we watch the other couple.

Jughead:As long as it's cool with your dad.

Archie:Mr. Lodge actually suggested it.

Veronica:Yeah.

Jughead:Then cue the dueling banjos.

Me:*chuckling* Jug leave the old man phrases at home.

Jughead:What? And it'll also be a good chance for me to work on my novel.

Veronica:Excellent! But remember, the point of this luxury weekend is to relax and unplug.

We see Cheryl walk up jumping into the conversation.

Cheryl:"Luxury" and "Weekend", two of my favorite words. So, where are we going, and how extravagant a wardrobe should I pack?

Veronica:Sorry, Cheryl. It's kind of a romantic, couples –only weekend.

Cheryl:I see. Of course. My mistake. Well have fun with your romances.

Jenson:It's only for a weekend how many jeans do you need?

Me:Shut up! I'm looking for my swim suit, I'll just wear some ugly one piece then.

Jenson:You'll look beautiful in anything sweetheart.

Me:Jerk.

I jog down the stairs with my duffle bags while stuffing my other swim suit inside as I catch him looking at our photos. I bump him slightly and he grabs my bag before we walk out. We get in the truck with the others.

When we make it to the cabin Veronica directs us inside while Archie, Jug and Jenson grab the bags, soon Jug leaves out and but we continue the tour, when we come back we go outside with Jug.

Betty:Hey is everything okay?

Jughead:That was Cheryl. She said you and Archie kissed in front of her house.

Well this isn't gonna be a smooth sailing weekend. Jughead storms off and Betty follows, me and Jenson walk out towards the woods while Archie and Veronica walk inside.

Me:I swear if they break up again.

Jenson:Wouldn't this be the third time?

Me:13th probably since this year.

Jenson:...We wouldn't let that break us up right?

Me:What?

Jenson:On of us kissing someone else after breaking up and us getting back together.
