Welcome to The Sisters of Quiet Mercy, Hoke for Troubled Youth where a certain Cheryl Blossom finds herself more troubled than usual... With nary a thing to look forward to except for movie nights, during which time, Cheryl would imagine what her friends might be doing.
As Cheryl Blossom withered, her friends were squaring off on the most public of stages.

I fix my shirt as I sit down between to Toni and Jenson with Isaiah behind me as we watch half of the elites on stage.
Ms. Cooper:Okay, now just a quick reminder, that this school hall is a PTA sponsored event.
Sweetpea behind Jenson stands up.
Ms. Cooper:Oh we have our first question.
Sweet pea:Yeah, no offense to the uh, current administration, but it doesn't feel like anyone's looking out for the students who are being bussed in from the Southside. Is that gonna change?
Someone yells sit down but me and Toni bump shoulders, leave it to sweet pea to say something so daring. Jughead is the first to speak.
Jughead:Absolutely, Sweet pea, that's our priority. And no one should feel marginalized or excluded here.
Me:I think I have a question.
Toni:Oh no.
Jenson:Please don't cause a fight in here.
Me:It's a genius question.
Toni:Or passive aggressive.
Me:Take it how you want.
Betty:Jughead and I will be representing all students, North and Southside alike.
Ms. Cooper:Next question... Yes, Midge?
Midge:My question is for Archie and Veronica. Rumor has it that your parents will soon be on opposite sides of the Mayoral election, won't that negatively affect your working relationship?
Me:*uttering* Not if Archie is all for the Lodges.
Toni:Shut up.
Me:I'm just saying!
Veronica:Archie and I adhere to the old maxim that "politics are never discussed" at the dinner table or the cafeteria table.
Archie:Veronica and I are on the same page about everything, including her family's plans for a prison on the Southside.
I roll my head to Toni and she muffs me and I do it to Jenson he chuckles and speaks.
Jenson:You're enjoying this a little too much.
Toni:Isn't she always?
Me:Don't blame me because they have this boy by the brain. He's literally going against his dad in public for no reason at all. I should've broke his hands so he couldn't hold the mic.
Veronica:In the mean time, however we're committed to improving the quality of life at Riverdale High, which means more extracurriculars--
Josie:--Reggie and I agree. Except, add the fact that we can and will deliver results.
Reggie:And we're chill, unlike these guys.
And this is a complete joke. I look at the two next to me and shrug.
