Betty:The sisters of Quiet Mercy. What is that? Like a church or a charity?

Me:It's a rehabilitation home for kids. Troubled kids.

Jughead:She's right.

Betty:How did you know about that?

Me:My dad was sent there when he was younger.

Jughead:"For Troubled youth– Where disenfranchised teens will learn such virtues as discipline and respect, enjoying lives of quiet reflection and servitude."

Betty:Poor Polly.

Me:You think they'll let you see her without your parents permission?

Betty:You think I should go?

Me:That's up to you. Whatever state she's in can you handle it?

She looks at me then back to the computer.

I sit at lunch with the group as Kevin tells me about his recent hook up on Fox trail.

Kevin:It's so many options to choose from! But, I really want to see Joaquin again. He's something amazing.

Me:Didn't he give you his number? Call him.

Kevin:I don't know... I mean he's a... *whispering*serpent.

I grin and lean into him and whisper.

Me:If I catch one will you date Joaquin?

Kevin:Absolutely! Wait doesn't you're dad-

Me:Yes! But I mean come on what's he gonna do?

Kevin:Your dad is literally the richest man in Riverdale besides the blossoms and they ask him for permission before doing something. He will make that boy go missing.

Archie:Yeah I think your mom and dad are the only ones the blossoms respect.

Me:Okay! Okay! But no me and my dad made a deal that as long as I'm not doing something that'll cloud my judgment like drugs he will let me make my own choices and just be my dad not my parole officer same goes for my mom. They trust me.

Soon Veronica talks about how she got Kevin to give Archie a spot in the show.

Archie:Veronica, thank you, but you saw what happened.

Kevin:We all did.

Me:I didn't... You froze or something?

Kevin:Like a deer caught in headlights.

Me:Hush, kev.

Archie:Playing my songs in front of you guys is one thing, but getting back up on that stage by myself... I'm not sure if I'm ready for that.

Me:Then how about we all sit together in the front and you sing to us? Just look at us or your dad.

Veronica:Or if it's a partner you're looking for, Veronica Lodge is more than willing and able.

Betty:Veronica, I didn't know you could sing.

Me:I didn't either.
