Mercy POV

I walk with Betty as she tells me what happened last night with her, Archie and Veronica.

Me:That's tough Bets. Seriously, and she's wrong for that she could have let Cheryl go in with him because Archie wouldn't have done anything with her.

Betty:It's fine, I can't be mad because he's not mines, he's just my best friend.

Me:True, but friends don't kiss the others friends crush nor do they continue make passes at him either.

Betty:Isn't that your God sister?

Me:Yeah, but as you know, I grew up here she grew up in New York. I mean we went to visit them from time to time along with taking family trips with them.

Betty:So do you really think she's changed?

I shrug and move my hand side to side to say so so.

Me:I believe her father's sentence woke her up, but you can't change who you were born to be, I love my auntie and uncle but they can be some shady S. O. Bs. Even when they don't realize it.

As we make it to my locker I see a note fall, Betty asks me a question;

Betty:So, you and Chuck?

Me:Uhh no, he messed up. I'm not going to deal with his nonsense anymore he's too childish.

Betty:Are you... Sure? I mean-

Me:Yes, Elizabeth I'm more than sure. We talked somewhat at the formal and... I got through to him but he has too many negative influences surrounding him and I don't have time for it.

Betty:Well, you're amazing you'll find someone in no time.

Me:Like wise, now... Tell me, is it a family gene to go for red heads I mean-

Betty:Shut up! *laughing*

Me:I'm serious! Let me know now so I can help you look for another redhead. I gotta go find Jughead I'll catch up with you later K? See you bets.

Betty:Bye!

I close my locker fixing my bag before walking through the halls to Archie's locker, I'm sure they'd be talking about this at the moment or using this as a reason to talk.

Ding ding we have a winner. I walk up to them and Archie smiles at me.

Me:Hello my favorite boy duo. What's up?

Archie:Hey did-

Jughead:*Scoffs* Look, it's the rich kids from the Goonies, I'll catch up with you guys later.

I frown and he walks away, I shake my head before looking at Archie with a raised eyebrow.

Me:You always doing something aren't you?

He puts his head down and I shake my head and giggle.

Archie:She told you?

Me:Uuhhh, yeah! I'm basically human diary, the stuff she doesn't tell you I know, and the stuff she does tell you I already know.

Archie:So you knew she liked me?

Me:Yup, but it wasn't my place to force her to tell you.

Archie:*sighs* Yeah, but we talked about it this morning.

I grin and nod, he laughs and we walk to first period talking to each other about the upcoming homecoming game.
