Mercy POV

I walk out of my room seeing Munroe on the couch, I lean over and kiss his cheek and he looks up at me smiling.

Me:When did you get here?

Munroe:Maybe three minutes? I just came from a run. Alex let me in.

I nod and walk into the kitchen, I hear him follow me and I smile as he wraps his arms around me I hand him a muffin and he bites into it. I grab yogurt and move from the fridge. He keeps me in his arms.

Munroe:We still haven't decided on our colors yet.

Me:...Black and Lilac?

Munroe:I think I can pull that off.

Me:Yeah?

Munroe:Yeah, I know you can.

I lay my head back on his chest and sigh.

Me:I sorta wish it was freshman year all over again.

Munroe:Why?

Me:Do everything over again? Some things differently, some not at all. I wouldn't have gotten into that argument with FP before I got shot so I couldn't have went outside at that time... A lot of stuff.

Munroe:I feel you. But maybe those things made you who you are?

Me:*shrugging* Possibly, but they still sucked.

Munroe:Yeah...

The thing we want to speak on - need to speak on hanging on the tip of our tongues, but we both just eat our breakfast, basking in the warmth and comfort of dodging mature conversation. My phone dings and I see it's Ronnie.

Me:Wanna go to the Speak easy for some thing Ronnie is doing?

Munroe:I have nothing else to do. Why not.

I tell her I'll be there and put my phone on the table. I toss the yogurt package inr the garbage before going to brush my teeth.

We walk down the steps into the area, Ronnie already up on the mic. We sit with Fangs and Kevin.

Ronnie:In honor of my friend K. O's visit, I thought I'd share a little tune for you tonight. It was written by someone very special to me. This one is for you Archiekins.

I lean back against my chair as the music starts. As I listen to the lyrics I tilt my head before glancing at the two at the table across from me. Archie is known for making music about those he's in a fling with and he feels a strong emotional connection with... And the last person he was emotionally involved with was Betty. And there goes the looks. These bastards just can't keep their tongues to themselves can they?

Veronica should know that this is weird seeing how this man hasn't made a song for her yet, I lean into Munroe's side and whisper into his ear.

Me:She's singing a song made for another girl.

His eyes widen before looking at me then back towards Ronnie he pulls me into his side.

Munroe:How do you know?

Me:I know a Archie Hit when I hear it, and he's known for making hits about his flings... He wrote that about someone else.
