Kevin:This is how my dad had his Jason Blossom murder board before it was trashed.

Jughead:Any leads on who did that? Or what they were looking for?

Kevin:Nope. No fingerprints. But they stole a bunch of files, back ground checks, and all the video and audio tapes of police interviews.

Me:That's bold. To break in and steal something out of the sheriff's house? Was your dad closing in on someone?

Kevin:I don't think so.

The door opens and we see Trev, he peaks in and speaks.

Trev:Sorry to interrupt.

Betty:Oh don't worry we were just working on our...

Jughead/Me:Murder board.

Betty looks at us and I just shrug before looking back at the board.

Trev:Well, I just wanted to make sure we're still on for tomorrow?

I turn and look at the two, Betty smiling a little and nods. Oh is little Betty going on a date?

Betty:Absolutely, it's a date... I mean, I'll... I'll see you there. Bye.

Before I can say anything Kevin beats me.

Kevin:Going out on a date with Trev? Does mama Cooper know about that?

Ugh her mom gives me a rash everytime I hear her or she speaks to me. She's so... Psycho.

Betty:Kev, I'm not on house arrest.

Me:Really? You expect us to believe that?

Betty:Okay, she's out of town at a women in journalism spa retreat. Anyway, it's not a "date" date.

That sounds so made up.

Jughead:You just called it a date. You literally said, "it's a date."

Betty:That's just my cover. Really it's an intelligence gathering mission. We should focus on the one thing we have access to that your dad doesn't. The kids at Riverdale High.

I nod and I see Jughead looking off into space, I nudge him and he looks at me. I raise an eyebrow and he shakes his head. Such a liar.

Betty:You know, maybe Trev knows something about Jason he didn't think was important.

Me:You're really good at this when your not biased.

Betty:*giggles* Thanks.

We walk on the bleachers and Veronica now is pressing about the Trev, date non date.

Veronica:Betty, you're positively radiating Nicholas Sparks. Tell me everything about this Trev.

Kevin:Oh there's nothing to tell. Just one of Betty's sources there's nothing romantic in the offing.

Veronica:Why is everything weird here? Why can't a date just be a date?

Me:Because if it was, it'd be cliché and boring.

Roni:Those are the best kinds. What about you Archie? How's life in the PG world?

We all look at her and she explains.

Veronica:PG. Post- Grundy. What too soon?

Archie:Coach Clayton says I have a shot at being varsity captain. So I'm not thinking about anything else right now.
