After a brief hiatus, Riverdale's Watcher in the burbs had released his much-anticipated follow up. In the dead of night, a second round of voyeuristic videotapes had been left on doorsteps across town. Once again, VCRs were dusted off with dread. And once again, they played hours upon hours of footage of the viewers home. Only this time the camera was much, much closer. The implications were terrifying. What was next for the Watcher? Breaking and entering? And if those delivers weren't unsettling enough, colleges and universities had started sending out their first wave of envelopes.

Some thin, some thick. All life changing. Making it a particularly stressful time for Riverdale High seniors. Which is why principal honey asked the school's guidance counselor, Mrs. Burble to offer extended office hours. So whatever anxiety the students were feeling, they'd have a licensed professional to go to for confidential comfort and/or advice. Something, it turned out, many of us were long overdue for.

Mercy POV

I stare at the two packets I picked up today while leaving out.

Munroe:Open it, you'll only make yourself go crazy.

Me:What if I didn't get in? What I got denied or wait listed?

Munroe:I doubt they'll send thick envelopes for denied students and if you're wait listed that's okay too, you can only go to one school, Cy.

Me:But-

Munroe:Open them. Besides didn't you say these two were your safety schools?

Me:Yes.

Munroe:Okay then.

I hand them to him and he looks at me and holds them up.

Me:Can you open them? I'm nervous. Keep your face neutral so I don't get a broken heart or excited too early.

He leans against the locker shaking his head and opens the packets. He bobs his head from left to to right before opening the other doing the same thing before slipping the stuff in my locker and holding out the two papers.

Munroe:Congrats, crazy.

I snatch the papers from him and squeal before jumping in his arms and he laughs.

Mr. Honey:3 seconds Ms. Johnson, Mr. Moore. And feet must remain on the floor.

I roll my eyes and he puts me down, once he turns back to where ever he's headed Munroe pulls me into a kiss. I smile and squeal again.

Me:This is good right? Like if my first two acceptances are coming in like this that means my others are too right?

Munroe:Yeah positive thoughts.

Me:Has any come for you?

Munroe:Not yet, remember I started mines later.

Me:Oh yeah, but I can't wait for those scouts to pick you up.

Munroe:You think so?

I close my locker and nod.

Me: Oh I know so, they'd be dumb to ignore you.

_-_-_-_-_-_-_-

I place my books in the locker when I feel someone bump into me. I turn around and glare staring at Jenson.

Jenson:I heard about University of Chicago and Stanford, congrats.

Me:Thanks.

Jenson:You know, if I didn't know any better-
