I walk into school my mind still running with the photo, Another came in this morning, I had to sneak it past Jenson, I'm so frustrated because nothing happened but based off the photos something went down and that is not something I need right now. I put my bag into my locker, the photo hot in the bag, I need to find out who that could possibly be. I will not be sent on a wild goose chase paranoid!
Kevin:Hey Merc, you look stressed what's up?
I look at him and sigh before closing my locker and shrugging.
Me:My mom and dad want Jenson to come to dinner, and he got caught in my room. It was weird.
Kevin:Wow, Ms. Slick herself got caught for once.
Me:Whatever... Hey, what's everyone looking so high strung?
Kevin:You didn't hear? Doiley got jumped by some Serpents they stabbed him.
Me:What? When?
Kevin:This weekend.
Me:Oh wow, I didn't know that. Hey I'll catch you later, I gotta go find Chuck and Reggie.
He nods with that confused face as I walk off, I'm gonna kill them.
When I find them they are in the lounge, I push Chucks head hard as I walk infront of them.
Chuck:What was that for?
Me:What's this shit I hear about Doiley? He got jumped by serpents?
Reggie:*shrugs* That's what I heard.
Me:Well, I saw the little weird bastard stab himself that's why I was over him last night!
Chuck:Hey lower your tone! You tryna get us all in trouble?
Me:You should if you gonna lie on people.
Reggie:Why are you trying to protect them? They came up to your friends lawn wanting to fight.
Me:Like I said if anything happens to them, it's gonna be even more drama that a brawl in the rain can handle.
Reggie:Lemme ask you a question Mercy... Who are you really siding with? Those assholes south siders or us? The guys you've known for almost all your life?
Me:I only met you guys in middle school Reggie and im not picking sides because I have love for people on both sides.
Reggie:So them? Wow.
Me:Stop being so dramatic Reggie.
Reggie:You're the one who's dating one of them!
Me:What does that have to do with anything?! I dated Chuck was that an issue?
Reggie:Of course not because we know you're safe atleast.
Me:I'm as safe with Jenson just as am with a group of you guys! You'd be friends with him if he went to school here you're being biased as hell.
Reggie:One of them could be the Black Hood.
Me:They said that the Black hood is a white male in his mid forties with a gut, none of the guys you fought last night fit that description.
Chuck:They aren't the only Serpents.
Me:And why can't it be someone from the North side?
