You know how there's just some towns where bad things always seems to happen? Well, Riverdale has become one of those towns. The most recent horror? The school janitor turned out to be a serial killer. But, we were putting him away along with our Christmas decorations. Now we were back to your typical small town intrigues, clandestine meetings behind closed doors and the like. Yes, by and large it was business as usual in Riverdale.

Mercy POV

Me:So what exactly am I hearing right now?

I look at Betty and she looks around nervous before sighing.

Betty:When me and Archie went to talk to Cheryl with no help from her. He told me he needed me and we kissed.

Me:So, what I'm hearing is virtually my closest friends cheated on my other close friend and God sister. Great.

Betty:Can you please be neutral?

I fold my arms and shrug.

Me:I am, I'm always in the middle. So what did the kiss mean?

Betty:I don't know what do you think it means?

Me:That those feelings are coming to the surface. But don't get me wrong everyone has had some kind of intimate moment with their best friends at some point.

She stops at that and I raise an eyebrow.

Betty:Have you and jug?... Ever...

Me:God no, Jughead isn't my type, we're too much alike, me and Toni have though, it was an experimental french she liked it, I didn't still best friends and I now have someone to critic my swimsuit and underwear fashion. Don't tell anyone, she'll kill me.

Betty:So it wasn't awkward?

Me:Nope, we actually have a inside joke about it, it's nothing deep so don't make it.

Betty:Should we tell them?

Me:*shrugging* I don't know depending on how you feel in terms of guilt and how you both react to each other afterwards, You'll tell on yourself.

Chuck:Where is your cane!

Me:Oh my Chuck, will you leave me alone! (If you get that reference, again MVP)

Betty laughs and walks away he comes up to me and leans on the locker.

Chuck:Where is it?

Me:It's been three weeks now, I've been signed off by the doctor to not need it anymore.

Chuck:You sure?

Me:Positive. I'm okay.

Chuck:Is it scarring?

Me:Not as bad as I thought it would, aloe Vera, coconut oil and witch hazel does wonders.

Chuck:That's been your remedy for everything.

Me:I'm glad you know.

Chuck:Hey do you-

Mr. Weatherbee:Students of Riverdale High, this is your principal speaking. E-mails have been sent to your parents, but effective immediately, Southside High School is shut down.
