They say every town gets the hero it deserves. Riverdale's was Archie Andrews. High School athlete by day, would be crime fighter by night. Patrolling the shadows of Sketch Alley, down by the Southside Docks, where Archie's community Center is. You wouldn't want to be caught there too long after dark. That's when the rats came out.

All in all not an auspicious second outing for Riverdale's dark-suited vigilante.

Mercy POV

I feel someone staring at me from the back of the class, Sweet Pea doodling on my right, Munroe catching up on English reading to my left. These are the only two I have AP Chemistry with this year that I know of. I lean over to Sweet pea.

Me:Do you feel like someone is staring at you?

He frowns and looks around before looking back to me.

Sweet pea:Jenson is back there. He's staring at you like he hates you.

I roll my eyes and nod going back to the homework.

Mr. Lee:Alright class, that's the bell.

As soon as he says that the bell rings, I get up stacking my books sweet pea tells me bye as Munroe stays back as I put my papers in the folder. When I finally get the papers inside I feel someone bump me hard making the papers fall out of the folder. I turn around and see Jenson. With a smirk.

Jenson:Sorry.

Munroe:What's your problem man?

Before he can walk up to him I hold a hand out.

Me:Let the jackass be, if you hurt him it'll be animal abuse and I don't need Honey crying about violence in his school.

Munroe looks him up and down before speaking.

Munroe:If I catch you near her again I'll beat you until you forget your name.

Jenson:Woah man, no need to go all 'Mad Dog' on me, it was a accident.

He starts to walk off and when we get down to grab the papers I kick my foot out catching his foot making him trip falling into a desk. I pull my leg back in standing up grabbing the papers from Munroe. He grabs my book and we walk off Jenson glaring at us. I give him a stunning smile.

Me:Sorry. I hope you're okay.

I feel Munroe wrap his arm around me as we walk out. I see Betty rush up to me.

Me:Hello Ms. Cooper how can I help you?

Betty:What do you know about the murder gene?

I tilt my head slightly before slightly shrugging.

Me:I know about the genes they say make up the murder genes... Why?

Betty:What do you know about it?

Me:Well, Monoamine oxidase A gene (MAOA) has earned the nickname “warrior gene” because it has been linked to aggression in observational and survey-based studies. However, no controlled experimental studies have tested whether the warrior gene actually drives behavioral manifestations of these tendencies. And the other gene Cadherin-13 (CDH13), it's unique and has been identified as a risk gene for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and various comorbid neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions, including depression, substance abuse and others. It's still not a concrete term due to the stigma it can create.
