I stare at Tessa.
“Breathe Tessa,” Ella tells her, “Tessa, breathe.”
Tessa stares at the screen, still not breathing.
“Tessa!” Ella shouts, “Tessa! Breathe!”
Tessa does as she’s told and looks around.
“It’s ONE DIRECTION!” She squeals, running around. Lots of people roll their eyes at her.
“Tessa, calm down,” Ella says, smiling.
“But Ella, IT’S ONE DIRECTION!” Tessa grabs Ella’s arms and dances around with her. All of us try to stifle our laughter.
“Please may you calm down in here?” One of the X-Factor team walks in, his eyes trained on Tessa.
“BUT CLIPBOARD MAN!” Tessa yells, “ITS ONE DIRECTION!”
“Yeah, I know,” Clipboard man nods, “You get to meet them afterwards.” Tessa turns around, her eyes wide. She opens her mouth but no sound comes out of it. She sits down, her eyes still wide. At least she’s breathing this time.

Union J are on next. Before they walk out, I hug them all tightly.
“Good luck.” I smile at them. Ella squishes up on one side of me and Dan on the other. Dan is like another best friend to me. And ever since he told me that he likes Ella, we’ve become closer. Not as close as me and George or me and Josh, but close.
I watch as Union J appear on the TV screen. They’re about to sing! Oh. It’s only their video.
I watch as they talk about themselves, and laugh quite a lot. Now they’re about to sing
