Josie sat down on the bed and thought about it. Somehow she liked the hunter, but he could be really obnoxious at times. Of course she had the feeling that he liked her too. But she felt that he liked her a little too much. The huntress wondered what would have happened if they had met after her new beginning. It would probably have ended in a one night stand and she would've never heard from the boys again and still live in her car. Josie was definitely glad that it hadn't turned out that way and that she now had a home. Also that she got to know and love the Winchesters better. She quickly slipped off the bed and ran to Dean's room, where she knocked softly. From inside all she heard was a grudging hum.
"Dean?", She whispered and he just mumbled something in his pillow, "You asked me what I think of you, well actually I think you are really okay"
"Great," he growled tiredly and kept his eyes closed, which is why he didn't see her approaching him.
Unasked, she sat on the edge of the bed and leaned over him so that he could feel her warm breath on the back of his neck. It looked like a clumsy attempt to get closer and she didn't quite know what she was doing. She could lean on Sam without hesitation and did not worry about whether it was wrong. Josie trusted the good-natured giant, but she always had doubts about Dean. Josie didn't want to make him feel like he'd get away with his game.
"What is this going to be?" He asked skeptically, "Have you changed your mind?"
"Changed my mind? What do you mean by that?"
Josie couldn't even realize what happened, there she lay under the hunter and held her breath in shock.
"You obviously really don't think good of me," he stated disappointed when he saw the fear in her eyes.
Without further ado, he released her and she literally jumped out of bed. It should have just been a innocent scramble, not meant too seriously. Dean didn't even have ulterior motives. He just wanted what she could do with Sam too. He also wanted a piece of the cake and not be satisfied with the crumbs she offered him. The Winchester had to admit that he was a little jealous of his younger brother. Everyone wanted him for one night, but everyone wanted Sam for a lifetime. And Josie was evidently no different.
He sadly watched her leave the room and if it didn't deceive him he heard a quiet sob before the door closed. Dean considered whether he should follow her, at least he had made her cry and should apologize for it, but how could that help? It wouldn't change her mind about him no matter how many times he asked for forgiveness.

The next morning the mood was tense, which made Sam suspicious and wanted to know what's the matter.
"Did something happen last night that I should know about?" He asked his brother, "I see that you two are avoiding each other"
"Ask the little ... bitch", Dean snapped irritably, because he had not slept the rest of the night.
