"Who the hell are you?", the waitress wanted to know in a frightened voice.

"A couple who is rethinking marriage", Josie replied with a smile and looked at Dean, who was also amused, in contrast to the others who couldn't believe what had happened.

“Is he dead? Hello?“, was heard from the cell phone that lay next to Josie on the floor.

"Yes Sam, you can pick us up at the diner!", she answered him and then handed it to its owner.

"Not bad for a beginner", praised Dean and accompanied the barefoot Josie from the diner.

"Who says I'm a beginner?", she countered and gave the dark blonde back his jacket because it wasn't cold anymore, now that the ghost was gone.

"By the way, you were a very gorgeous bride, maybe I would actually have said yes", enthused Dean and bit his lip shyly, "It must have been hard to be reminded. Your old life"

"Well, I have the hope that if I catch this bastard that I'll go back there and start all over again", she whispered and padded around with her bare feet on the cold asphalt.

"That's what I always thought and I still hunt with Sam, so don't be so sure about that."

Carefully he reached out to her with both hands and pulled her closer

Carefully he reached out to her with both hands and pulled her closer.  For a moment Josie panicked because she didn't know what he was going to do and even if he had saved her, she wasn't the kind of woman who thanked someone with 'favors'. But Dean had no such intentions, he just wanted to do her a favor and she should stand on his shoes.

"Come on, stand on it with your cold feet", he offered and looked at his shoes.

She grinned and grabbed him to keep from falling over. Josie tried to hide her delighted smile, because she found the hunter really cute in this moment and it reminded her of the fresh love between her and Andy.

"For sure, there has to be a Miss Perfect somewhere and you will be happy to enjoy the rest of your married life with her", said Josie wishfully and really hoped he could settle down one day.

"The question is if this Miss Perfect can take someone like me", he doubted.

"Oh come on, you're not such a bad match either, I almost married you after all", she joked to cheer him up, which actually worked.

The boys took Josie back to the motel where her car was still parked. On the way there, the woman suddenly discovered her shoes on the sidewalk.

"Stop, my shoes!", she screamed from the back seat and the car stopped for a moment so Josie could collect them.

At the Motel, Sam said goodbye to her first and went ahead into the room to get their stuff.  Dean got out too and leaned comfortably against the Impala.
