The dark blond fetched a needle and thread and conscientiously closed the wound. It was not surgically perfect, but scars like this were part of the life of a real hunter. Gently, he covered her wound again with the shirt.
"Better put on something clean", he advised her, suddenly sounding like a concerned brother.
"And how?", came from the brunette, who could barely lift her arm.
For a moment Dean seemed at a loss, but then he began to grin meaningfully.
"I guess I'll have to give you a hand", he sighed, playfully annoyed.
"I see this task is way too much work for you, I'd better ask Sam", she teased him and marched off in the direction of his room.
But halfway up, Dean caught up with her and pushed her into her room, careful not to hurt her. Giggling, she turned to him and bit her lips. His heart pounded with anticipation, even if it would only be a bit of skin he caught a glimpse of. Dean was grateful for every inch he was allowed to see of Josie's body. And the fact that she allowed it was a big step not only for him.
The brunette was not one of those people who liked to show herself, unless she had to. Especially her countless scars often raised questions that she could not or would not always want to answer. But her trust in the Winchester grew with every day and she had already experienced more unpleasant and embarrassing situations with him.
"What are you waiting for? Are you going to stare at my shirt until it disappears by itself?", she teased him.
Caught, he looked into her eyes and carefully reached for the hem of her shirt. Awkwardly, they managed to free Josie from it without the stitches popping open. Carelessly he threw the bloody fabric on the floor and longingly let his gaze glide over her upper body
"Eyes are up here!", she taunted, lifting his chin with the hand of her uninjured arm.
“‘Excuse me, I couldn't resist", he admitted frankly, shrugging his shoulders slightly.
Secretly Josie enjoyed what effect she had on him, even if she didn't want to admit it. She turned her back on him and rummaged in a drawer for a clean bra.
"DON’T YOU DARE LOOK!", she threatened, handing him the plain push-up.
"Your confidence in me is really high", he marveled and took it from her, however he tossed it on the bed, "Give me a minute."
Before she knew it she was standing alone in the room, meanwhile looking at herself in the mirror. Her usually sun-kissed skin had faded quite a bit in the past few months and was in desperate need of a beach vacation, like she used to take more often with Andy back in the day. She wondered what Dean would think of her then, when her Latina genes came out.
Dean just came in the room with a wet washcloth and eyed the brunette.
"You like what you see?", he joked, stepping behind her.
