"Hey, what do you think about a change of venue?" suggested Dean, looking the werewolf in the eyes.

"Actually not a bad idea, I already know a place where to go, maybe you will find someone there and do not have to go to bed alone," Jackson was pleased, who also could hardly wait to lure Dean out.

The hunter looked fit and healthy, his heart would literally melt in the pureblood's mouth.

"I wouldn't anyway," Dean muttered barely audibly to himself, however the monster could still hear it.

"Did you say something?", Jackson wanted to know and Dean felt all the more confirmed in his theory.

Shaking his head, Dean put the money on the counter and nodded toward the exit. The werewolf apparently didn't suspect that he was dealing with a hunter and walked ahead of him. With the eyes of a predatory cat, Dean tracked his prey outside. Unfortunately, the busy Bourbon Street also offered no opportunity to bag his victim, but fortunately Jackson had the same goal and headed out of the street to a quieter area of downtown. He could not smell any people far and wide, which is why he extended his claws as well as his teeth while still running through the side street.

In one turn, he wanted to surprise Dean and rip open his chest, but the hunter was already aiming his gun at Jackson's head

"Silver bullets, my friend, one move and I'll put one in your head," Dean warned him, unfazed by the wolf's bared teeth.

"A hunter, I should have known it ," Jackson growled, his wolf eyes shining, "What do you expect now? That I'll run away like a scared stray dog?"

"I hope not, I'm wearing the wrong shoes to chase you all over town," Dean provoked, all too eager to just pull the trigger.

Across the street, Josie was just coming out of a bar she was investigating, followed by Sam. He had made himself known to her and they were wandering the streets together. Incredulous, she watched Dean and the wolf. A spark of anger showed, as she assumed Dean would take down the wolf on his own.

"Hey!" she yelled from the other side.

The wolf immediately retracted its claws and teeth and played the victim.

"Please, help me," he wailed, "This guy is trying to kill me, I already gave him all my money."

Sam and Josie came running over, but the wolf suddenly remembered Josie's smell.

"You've earned it!" she hissed, drawing her knife in a flash.

She rammed it with all her might into the werewolf's chest. He still tried to strike at her with his paw, but Dean grabbed Josie and held her in front of him. Quickly Dean put her hands on his gun and pressed her finger on the trigger until a shot was released, hitting directly into Jackson's forehead. Gripped by her emotions, Josie blindly pulled the trigger again and again, not caring if it hit the body at all. She emptied the entire magazine and, leaning against Dean, sank down to her knees. She felt neither relief nor anger. All at once there was a huge emptiness inside her. The hunter helped the brunette back to her feet and put an arm around her supportively.
